The Palavayal Farm Resorts

We had an incredible experience staying at The Palavayal Farm Resorts. We were looking for a serene and private location for a friends and family gathering and this was a perfect place. Location: It is located in the middle of a large coconut and arecanut farm with beautiful nutmeg trees in between. There is a pristine river flowing through the property with a private access. Rooms and facilities: The rooms and toliets were very clean and spotless. The highlight of the property was the large swimming pool with lot of area around it for partying. Activities: River trek – They took us for a walk through the riverine islands crossing the river at strategic points. Farm walk – The kids really enjoyed the farm walk experience. They got to know first hand how different crops are cultivated. Kayaking – There is also an option to do kayaking in the river that flows through the property. River rafting – We went for the river rafting as well and it was an enjoyable experience. Houseboat ride – Valiyaparamba backwaters is just half an hour away and we booked for a sunset cruise which was really calm and beautiful. Food: The food was prepared as per our requirement by Seeta chechi who is an excellent chef. We tried many varieties of seafood and chicken dishes. All the dishes were very flavourful and delicious. Service: What really made our stay very special was the excellent service by their staff. Their manager Ranjith and caretaker Mohanan chettan ensured that all our needs were met. Overall we would give a five star rating to Palavayal Farm Resorts and highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for a getaway with family and friends.
