The Kashi Residency

The property is located very near to assi ghat. It takes 2mins to reach assi ghat. They have in house kitchen, which serves hygienic food. They serve customised food for kids as well. However the food price is quite high. You will get ample options of eateries around that area, so you can explore outside food as well. Hotel staffs are very helpful and they cater to your request. Rooms are very clean.

Rooms were very small. Bathroom was leaking from top. When we enquired, is it ok if we return by 11:15 and do the checkout .. rude reponse - No

During my 4 nights of stay I have not received Housekeeping facility. When I asked for the same they said during festival season (Holi) they do not provide house keeping facility due to lack of manpower. Terrible experience from a 4+ rating property. I had to clean my room by myself after paying 14k for such a below average property. Pros - Location is 100 M from Assi Ghat, Restaurant food is tasty although price is on higher side. Cons - 1. Lack of management. 2. Un-professional service from reception to restaurant including housekeeping. 3. Lack of local support, could not even arrange cab and local services like Darshan & tour guidance, or even arrange an e rickshaw. 4. Room size is very small and lack of ventilation, one window was there but from reception they said to avoid opening due to lack of mosquitoes. Pathetic. 5. Being a host property employees are not so welcoming. 6. Did not provide basic amenities like towel. 7. Washroom shower was not properly working although seemed to be only 1-2 years old.

Location was easy reachable and traceable. Foods were tasty. Staffs were cooperative. Peace and tranquility.

Hotel was good and okay but the staff was very good and kind

The hotel is neat & clean, well managed. Very close to assi ghat and ravidas ghat where-from the alaknanda river cruise starts pure veg foods are available, the food was very good and sufficient in quantity. House keeping, hygiene. Everything are fine.

And oasis in the middle of crowded Varanasi. The room was very spacious with all amenities. The staff was polite and super helpful. The bathroom was clean. Highly recommended.

Nice little place next to assi ghat. Everyone right from the property manager to the support staff made sure that every need was attended to promptly and with a smile.

when we booked the hotel kashi residency, we were not that much sure about hospitality/ service. but now we all friends would like to highly recommend this hotel for food quality, room service, staff and managers behaviour and for location also. its just 50 Meter walk from Assi Ghat ganga aarti location. The hotel has in-house Hanuman ji's Old Temple. Overall The hotel kashi residency is best to stay and provide a peaceful stay.

Service was good. But room was not good

can't take a car to the property as it's narrow road. though selected for complementary breakfast, the service, food items were limited. on the high side. won't recommend others.
