A quaint heritage hotel conveniently located 10-15 mins walk from MG Marg. The staff is warm and courteous. On clear days, the rooms offer views of the Kanchenjunga range. However, the food is quite ordinary, and the rooms could benefit from better upkeep. Overall - 6/10

Pros- Excellent Heritage Hotel with the old aura . Awesome view from the room. Excellent vintage hotel decor. Good parking space . Nice small lawn to sip ur tea with a view. Helpful & courteous staff. Hilton the dog. Cons - the view was blocked after check in, due to ongoing arrangements for some marriage which went on till we checked out. Also the work used to continue due late in night giving a feeling of a Worksop . The lawn was blocked due to same & we couldn’t sip a single tea there. The facilities need an upgrade in the room to incl tub replacement, functional furniture upgrade, better tea assortments, Tv upgrade, better towels & usable bath robes, stationary etc. Basically cost cutting has been done in the name of heritage. I have stayed in other heritage hotels for info. No reckonable common facilities for guests and kids. Food quality is too low though priced as high as other 5 stars. The cost compared to what you get. No newspaper or mineral water in rooms.

We didn’t go to the property due to landslide in Gangtok,There was no support from the hotel in this natural calamity also

Excellent staff, the manager is very good and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed with hilt-on as well. Food was mind blowing. Only place i would stay in gangtok.

Rooms are very nice and clean. Services are excellent and you can view kanchenjunga hills from your room only. Very nicely located properry

Very small room very hot only one fan no lift. Ist they allot first floor room no view back side than change 2nd floor. We are senior citizen no lift. I stay pelling darjeeling elgin hotel. This hotel not good

Beautiful place, great view, excellent service. The view from the garden is very nice and you can walk easily to mg marg.

The location of the property is great & nearer to the main m g road. The ambience of the hotel/rooms are excellent. Food was very good & room service was excellent. They packed my breakfast also, as i checked out early morning by 5. 30 am, which was a great gesture from the hotel staff.

It's a heritage hotel and the property is located near mg marg where you'd like to roam in the night. The rooms were old but quite good. The washrooms could have been better, the bathtub and buckets were not cleaned as i expected. Breakfast was good. I asked for an upgrade as i visited on my first anniversary but no luck which i believe they could have provided as the hotel was not fully occupied. The staff was very nice and polite.

If you are coming for honeymoon don’t go with the luxe package. Just simply book the property for the room. Not worth the cost. Room size and hot water facilities needs drastic improvement. Package inclusions : candle light dinner, cake, red wine. All the above were provided as committed. Over all ambience : 10/10 hospitality :10/10 value for money: 5/10
