Shanti Lodge

Hotel was poor, location was hard to find, the room didn't had AC, TV as shown and been there in facilities. The food in the restaurant/room service was seriously worst I ever ate. Most of the thing which was shown in menu wasn't even available.

Hotel location is near Taj Mahala and hotel staff are friendly and good service. Looking the hotel is very beautiful. Room and Toilet is clear. Hotels food is very tastey. And near so many restorants. Hotel is good condition but all rooms don't have any Television and telephone facilities.

++ Positives 1. It is walkable distance from TAJ Mahal second gate. 2. WiFi was good. 3. Staff was friendly. 4. Roof Top restaurant. 5. Hotel was looking clean. - Negatives: 1. It was lacking some facilities, like bathroom door was not getting closed fully. They did not provide essentials in the bathroom soap, sanitizer etc. 2. They allocated one room for us initially and it did not have light in the bathroom, and chargers were not working, and after that they changed it. Overall it was average, and not that great.

The hotel was under rebuilding... We checked the room.. Rooms were good.. Due to construction working dust everywhere... AC room was clean and ok. Enjoyed our stay.. We stayed at other hotel because of under construction environment.

After cessation of my worst trip to Agra I back to Delhi. Shanti Hotel is a below average hotel where lack of facilities and apparatus. The room is like a footpath shed and also the bathroom was dirty and unhealthy. Room is looking shabby and given me horrible experience during stay. I strictly not recommended hotel Shanti Lodge.

Only 1 thing good is that it is near Taj Mahal South Gate, nothing else is better. If you are a tourist please avoid it. Food very bad, dirty locality also dirty hotel. Once upon a time it was a good hotel but due to lack of maintenance its now the most dirty hotel I have ever seen.
