Terrible experience! Here are the specific issues we encountered during our stay: 1. **Stained Beds and Linen:** The bedsheets and pillowcases were visibly stained, which is unacceptable for any accommodation, let alone a luxury villa. 2. **Dirty Floors:** The floors were dirty upon our arrival, which is both unsanitary and unpleasant. 3. **Unhygienic Water Dispenser:** The water dispenser provided was filthy, and there was no proper supply of mineral water, putting our health at risk. 4. **Unavailable Food Service:** We were informed that the cook had to leave for an emergency, leaving us with no ready food service. This forced us to travel 2-3 KMS to find nearby restaurants, causing great inconvenience. 5. **Unresponsive Property Managers:** After we booked, the property managers were uncooperative and repeatedly denied any requests we made. We literally had to fight our way through to get things done, adding to our frustration and stress. These issues are particularly concerning given the amount we were charged and the expectations set by your marketing. We selected SaffronStays Ocean Pearl - Hejamady Beach Mangalore expecting a hassle-free and comfortable experience, but unfortunately, our stay was marred by these significant shortcomings. Given the severity of the issues faced, we request you to kindly look into this and compensate accordingly while we continue our stay . The quality of accommodation and service we received was unacceptable, and we believe compensation is warranted for the distress and inconvenience caused. Another major issue is the falsified images on the website, the place is not even 30% like the pictures on your website. I trust you will address this matter promptly and ensure such issues are rectified for future.

Good location bad maintenance old property smelly bed sheets and towels and no hot water but staff was good

Beautiful place with great ambience and very close to beach enjoyed the property with the family and kids.

Very bad food, property requires good cleaning and toiletries need to be provided. We had visited the same property two years back and it was amazing at that time. Now it is in shabbles

Now don't get me wrong. You won't be able to find a better located stay probably in this entire region. The villa is on the outskirts of a sleepy village and secluded in true sense of the word. The beach is just across the street. Barely 50m. The property itself is old but beautiful with the old world charm. It has three spacious rooms and the hall has very high tiled roof. The garden outside is gorgeous. Backside of the villa opens to a small river! All the rooms have AC and attached bathrooms have hot water available. The caretaker is a nice guy who will arrange hot water and even get food from outside if you want. This was the good part. At ₹ per night, it is overpriced considering the fact that there is not even a kettle to heat water or somekind of stove or microwave if you want to cook or heat any food. Going out everytime for food becomes a chore. The flush in one of the bathrooms doesn't work!!! The bedsheets and cushions in the hall could be cleaner. (BTW there is no TV also but I don't mind it much but if you have kids who want to be entertained, you need to have some backup!) I understand that they are charging premium for the location but at this price there should be more facilities available.

Elderly friendly. Beautiful location with the Sea in the front and the River behind. Lovely pets. The caretakers Mr. Chittranjan and Mr. Jitender are the best ever taking utmost care of our needs. Highlight is the home cooked food simply awesome. The property is beautifully built in old Mangalore style
