Food and hospitality was amazing. Only the necessary amenities were available in the rooms. But since we wanted to stay in the lap of nature with sonajhuri forest in view, the lack of amenities didn't bother us. We went for walks to the forest from the resort's back gate. The location is amazing (close to civilization yet far enough to find quiet peace) and the owners care. Just one recommendation: rooms can have better ventilation.

I must say I was a bit skeptical about this one but I was taken aback by the ambience. The rooms were good, glass windows gave a good view of the vast greenaries.The main usp is the view and feel of the balcony..your eyes can feast on the greeneries extending to the sonajhuri trees..the whole property made us secluded from the chaos of urban jungle and we are greatful for this. The caretaker and all the staffs were very helping and they made us feel like family.We as a group are eager to return here soon..

Very beautiful ambience and the property is decorated and maintained so well. Feels like living in a garden. The sonajhuri market is just a few mins walk from the property. The cook and the manager are very polite and professional. My family had a lovely time there.

They don't have proper electricity supply...I paid for AC room but there was no electricity for 3 -4 hours... slept without Ac..And stuff Behaviour was sooo bad... They don't have proper Manners... Their Manager was unprofessional... Kindly Don't suggest any one to stay in this hotel please... The property is extremely well decorated and fully garlanded by nature. The Staff, especially the Manager were incredibly cordial and welcoming. The food was homely and impeccable. The property has direct access to Sonajhuri forest and the haat can be reached by walking without taking help of any transport. Maybe the rooms can be upgraded a bit according to modern amenities. My urge to the readers would be not to expect hotel like services but as a homestay this might be one of the best options in Shantiniketan taking the location, picturesque landscape of the property, price and hospitality into consideration.

The stay and food all are good. The behavior of all the stuffs are excellent. They provide great hospitality and plus point of this hotel is from behind door you can go to sona jhuri hat by walk

Pros - good property with a lot of green near khowai hut. There is also a small forest area at the back side. The rooms are spacious and bathroom are clean cons- very poor service. Only 2 staffs managing the hotel apart from manager. Hence you would not find timely service. Food is average with not a lot of options in menu

Is it as all together a wonderful stay 100/100 every thing including people, ambience, facility was amazing will visit again if planning for Shantiniketan

The room was dirty, to the extent that the bed was littered with peculiar dirt particles oozing out of the ac. There was also stool floating in the comod. After complaining, they took more than 30 mins to clean up. Till then we had to wait loitering here and there as there is no lobby nor any seating arrangement in the office. There is also no food available as the cook is supposedly on leave, with no back up arrangement for the guests. We are really disappointed and shocked at this kind of hospitality.

The staffs were polite. The surrounding is peaceful and safe. Totos are easily available. Very near to shonajhuri forest and shonajhuri haat is at walking distance. The food is flavorful. Parking is available. Rooms and bathrooms are clean. Will surely recommend my friends and family.

This property is far away from the main city and station and rooms are not clean and updated as per recent times, television was there but from ancient era, manager is not so helpful when we informed him that our room's lock is not working at all( i have images as proof, washroom was not, clean n tidy, meals are not tasty, they provide very small amount of items, if ask for some more they are ready to charge extra ( to charge extra for everything they provide very less, that's their intension) will never choose it in future

Cons: i would like to start with the cons because our experience wasn't that great. To start with the location is little away from main road and post evening due to lack of street lights it's difficult to go out. The food is average, and due to the location of the place the option to get food from other places becomes a challenge. The biggest concern is the non-maintenance of the basic facilities like bathroom tap, jet wash, etc. The tap was faulty and it would take 1hr to fill a 5l bucket (they don't provide you bigger buckets. It was really a headache for us, specially in the winter. Also, in our 2days stay the tv didn't work. Pros: the property set up is good & peaceful, and there is a shortcut to sonajhuri forest from the backside of the property. The staff are courteous.

Prokriti boon bungalow is a dream come true for the people who want to experience the eco stay. The best thing about the hotel is that it is full of greenery. The back gate of the hotel opens directly to sonajhuri haat. The room was really clean, the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The food was almost like home-cooked. Another attraction of this place is the swing. With family or friends it's a great place to visit specially in winter.

We had a wonderful experience staying in this hotel. Located amid-st the nature and location is truly good. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting shantiniketan

The hotel/bunglow is very nice. The staff behaviour is good and very helpful, they never said no to any of our request, for example we requested extra blanket, extra household amenities etc and all of these items are well granted. The food quality was good and served in adequate quantity. Last but not the least the ambience of the hotel is truly awesome.

Situated in good location, staffs are very helpful, food is good and homely, rooms are clean and spacious. Stayed with my family every one is very happy.
