It was so pleasant stay .. the owner lady and her family greeted us so well. The location is amazing along with the hospitality. The food was amazing though I found food a bit pricey but justified as they prepare home food so delicious.. Surrounding is soo nice. Perfect for family stay. Would recommend this stay to everyone.

One of the best place to stay as it feels like you are staying in your own house. Good service specially the boy sameer or may be i spelled it wrong .He is very humble and always ready to help. what a experience wonderful is not the word . forest view is the best. Yea mosquitoes are there due to forrest. But everything is provided by them do not worry including the bed mosquito net too as if you really what to enjoy a peacefull and no disturbance atmospher go for it.

I stayed at Rupkotha for 2 nights, and overall, it was a great experience. The host, Rohini Konami was very welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring SHANTINIKETAN. The caretaker and the cook were very active and helpful. Sonajhuri Haat was jus 5 min walking distance from the property I would strongly recommend this home stay to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient place to stay nearer to the Bolpur station. Location is good. Food is good. Services are good. There is scope of improvement of amenities. We enjoyed the trip.

It’s a great homestay, homestay owners are great peoples. I recommend everyone please visit this homestay, it’s atmosphere is very homely.

The homestay rupkotha is in a very good ambience, and just beside sonajhuri forest. The behavior of the staff is really good and helpful. But the room where we were staying has a privacy issue. They have a half glass door, and the main door is not so convenient. And we notified the owner. And in my opinion it is a lack of maintenance. Mainly they have modified their home into a hotel, so there is some problem with electric connections. Overall experience is average.

The homestay is situated at a beautiful space near the belasheshe house. It's maintained nicely by the owner and the caretakers of the property. The room and common space was really clean which is very much appreciated. Minus the fact that the food quality (quantity is good), the entire stay was pretty good. It has an homely environment and for any female solo traveller, it's a safe & clean space to be at.

Location is nice. Hosts are very humble and polite. But, i am sorry to say that the rooms are not standard at all. Rooms are very very small, and yu get gloomy feel. Full of mosquito. We cud not stay and left just after 30 mins. But again its a personal perspective. Sorry to mention but it is essential to give honest review.

Rupkatha homestay property is very good. Nice ambience and the hospitality of the owner of the homestay is very much homely. The food quality and presentation is like home feeling.

It's a home away from home. The intricate art crafts designed all along the property keeps you wondering. Gardens are curated perfectly. Oshadharon bengali chinese south indian cuisines are served. Name an item and it will be cooked freshly exclusively for you. Each member of the homestay be it the host or the staff behave warmly and are absolutely particular about their duties. One goes lilting to sleep by the breeze from the adjoining sonajhuri forest grooving through the bedroom windows. Lush green canopies of sonajhuri trees makes the rooftop impeccable. Friendly gullible street dogs and motherly cows make the stay more naturally country side along with the adivasi para breathing faraway on the backyard rather a little walk away through the dry sonajhuri leaves spread over the red soil. An unwavering faith on the omnipotent with the thakur ghor - idols - religious chimes - swastika - pataka - tulsi tala- devi embarking on the shila by the tree in the garden will quietly help you meditate and realign yourself from within. Cab services are available on offer by the owner of the stay. Car parking is also available. Interestingly one can pamper oneself with an exotic traditional collection of sarees, kurtis and much more. A musical evening with some adda or a romantic sojourn on the roof top or the glass bed room therein makes the stay here at rupkatha bolpur memorable for ever.

The property is pretty and it is quite in there. There is a small sonajhuri forest behind the property. The rooms are good and the behaviour of the owners is also good. The rooms and bathroom are clean.

The rooms, cleanliness and behaviour of the owner and her family are excellent. The location is also nice. Food is very good and we felt everything very homely. Only thing that makes the overall rating 'very good' (not excellent) is the price of the food. The price of the breakfast, lunch or dinner is very high.

The homestay did not quite match our expectations, except for the food. The rooms were very basic compared to the price, with just a bed and a small table, lacking a closet or shelves. The matress was very hard, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Most of the bathrooms lack ventilation, making them stinky and stuffy. We did not expect old paint buckets instead of proper buckets for shower with rooms charging 2. 5k. Cleanliness was also not well taken care of as we found the washbasins quite spotty and insects and ants roaming around the rooms (my 2 year old daughter found a baby scorpion in one of the washbasins) the service and food (although a bit pricey) was really good. Rohini mam is a great cook and served us fresh and tasty food in every meal. The staffs were also always attentive towards our well being and were very warm. My kid loved their company. I would like to highly recommend rohini mam to take care of the above mentioned issues.
