Food quality very very poor.There was no personal choice or menu card for fooding.

Mainly my target was to travel sonajhuri r haat and kankalitala. this stay is budget friendly and a good location near Prantik station and sonajhuri haat. The stay was a comfortable one. Its owners were friendly and cooperative. Very neat and clean. Recommended for family stay

I stayed here for the second time. My first experience wasn’t great, but I decided to give it another try, and I’m glad I did. This time, the experience was good. They really listened to customer feedback and have made a lot of improvements. The rooms and washrooms are neat and clean, as is the lobby. The best part about this homestay is that no one bothers you. The staff are also very friendly and cooperative. The only suggestion I have is that they should check a few things before check-in: make sure the room has a trash can, a working mosquito repellent, and pillow covers. These were missing during my stay, but when I requested them, the staff arranged everything immediately. These are small things that could be improved. Other than that, I highly recommend this place to everyone. It's definitely worth a try.

Facilities, locality,maintainance and sanitation

Owner behaviour was really good.We reached after 10 pm and we stay for 1 night only. As per price we got excellent room.

Room was nice, bed & other things like pillows, blanket was not so clean.. bathroom was good.. Food was good but very pricy.. I ordered chicken but they provided only breast part not a leg piece..

During my recent visit to Santiniketan, I had the pleasure of staying at Kavitanjali Homestay, located conveniently near the famous Khoai Haat. Just a short walk away, you can immerse yourself in the vibrant haat experience and enjoy the serene surroundings of Rabindranath Tagore’s town. The overall ambiance of the homestay is peaceful and homely, and the staff’s behavior was warm and welcoming. They were always ready to assist and ensured that my stay was comfortable. The rooms were clean and spacious, with simple yet pleasant decor that added to the charm of the place. However, a couple of improvements could enhance the stay further: 1. Dustbins in the rooms – Having a dustbin in each room would improve cleanliness and convenience for guests. 2. Bathroom mats – Providing a mat outside the bathroom would help keep the floor dry and prevent slips. Overall, Kavitanjali Homestay offers a great location, friendly service, and a quiet retreat for those looking to explore Santiniketan. With a few small improvements, it could offer an even better experience for future guests.

Location is very good, near by station. Food and service is homely. Good to stay. Ambience is good a d peaceful.

Low budget and peaceful stay with minimum amenities. Its a homestay, so you can request pick and drop facilities. Lunch and dinner can also be ordered if requested earlier. A dining room is available on first floor.

The staff here is very cooperative. Our check-out time was 10am but since we had the train at 5pm, they agreed to keep our lagauges until then. Not only that, they even managed to keep us in the hotel as some rooms weren't booked yet ! i would highly re-command this stay for your first and most welcoming stay to shantiniketan.

Very homely and very hospitable hosts. Their home cooked meals were also very sumptuous and nice. The location of the stay is also at a very convenient location.

Kavitanjali is the worst homestay in shantinikatan. Don't book. Tgey always deny the check in and wish to take money always

After doing some research, i chose to stay at this homestay because it's near the sonajhuri ha-at (15 minutes walking distance. However, after staying here for two nights, it did not meet my expectations at all. On the check-in day, the owner called me and requested that i stay in another resort they own near the same homestay location because someone was already staying in the room i had booked and wanted to extend their stay. I denied his request, and he said he would manage something. But when i checked in, i noticed i got a different room because there was no attached balcony, which should have been there. Let me share my own experience with the pros and cons if you are planning to stay here in the future: pros: - no one bothers you for anything (just like a homestay should be) - it's a 15-minute walking distance from sonajhuri haat - couple-friendly cons: - no room service (daily cleaning or anything like that) - the geyser was not working in my case - even with power backup, we faced 1+ hour power cuts (not even lights/fan) - all main santiniketan places are far from this homestay except for the sonajhuri haat - no quality restaurants/hotels near the homestay conclusion: i am not recommending this homestay for couples or families, though it might be good for a group of friends. You will find cheaper or similarly priced homestays in prime locations as well.

It was a homely environment nearby viswa bharti university and the place was neat and clean with greenery surroundings. But it was overpriced. The price range should be within rs 800.

Location is very good as it is nearby santiniketan campus and sonajhury haat. Food is homely and care-taking is good. Rooms are neat and clean.
