Excellent location, the majestic view of Kanchenjunga from the room was awesome, staff behavior is very good and excellent food.

Room was not clean , floor carpet was drench in water, dirty blanket and mattress . No clean water bottle

It was written in MMT that it was a road view room but after going there I found out that there is no view from the window of the room.. It was a very suffocated room..the room was very small but it can be accommodated for 2 people and their food price is also very high..but the staffs ar very good..I liked their service also. The property is located at the perfect place near Raj Bhavan and provides an excellent view of the mountain range and sunrise. Rooms are neat and nicely decorated. Food quality is excellent.

They Have Total 11 Rooms out of which 9 Rooms of Mountain View but they provided us 1 Rooms there was no window in the Rooms and Rooms with moisture. Gizer not working properly & water supply is very poor. Rooms more than Rs.2000/- is not worthy.

Room was small and so as the washroom. Food was good, locality was bang on place . Property is just beside Raj Bhawan and on a prime location as well as quite place. Staffs are cooperative and very good .

Dolphin hotel is in excellent condition and location. All staff are extremely cooperative and helpful. Food is excellent and of good quality. The rooms were good. We stayed at 501 and 202. Only suggestion is to have a folding bed with mattress options for a 3rd person as the beds are good for 2 people and a bit difficult for a 3rd person, although we managed to sleep for 2 days in these 2 rooms. Every staff member is very polite and friendly. Overall we will come back here again.

Location - on Mall Road, next to the Governor's House. Excellent view of Kanchenjunga. Room - Clean room with good interior. Water from the geyser was not hot enough. Staff behaviour and services were good. Food average.

The view from the room is awesome! you will get nice home food if you opt! room is standard well decorated- bed is good with maximum 2 adults and 1 kid! though we booked 2 adults and 2 kids - this room and bed was not enough- we had to sleep other side to adjust - but that was worth with the view from the room ! accessibility from cab and mall road is very near - you have to get down or ask cab for raj bhawan stop! behavior of the employees are really good- we were 2 ladies and 2 kids- when we were checking out they asked and helped us to get the luggage till stop - which was really not necessary! i have stayed in different hotels in darjeeling at different times - and would love to go back to this one again ! since peak season is on - price was a bit high !

Hotel dolphin is an old property and much popular with bengali tourists. However, i have had a mixed feelings staying at the hotel. Pros: 1. Very well behaved staff and service. 2. Some rooms have good view. Cons: 1. Property is old and needs renovation. 2. Outside noise and even speaking is easily heard from the room. 3. Mattress in the bed is hard, not comfortable. 4. Washroom is very small and outdated. 5. Mall road is a 10-min walking distance although the road is comfortable for walk. 6. Not much restaurants nearby. I think there're much better options in this price range at darjeeling.
