Glacier View Guest House

This is more of a home stay but very nicely kept and 10 mins from Leh market. Incase you need any help the owner Tani is your goto person. We had booked on all meals and this was a major issue. Sometimes the food was not enough and the food quantity was always limited on most days. We had major issues with lunch. I would highly recommend this place for stay, but should avoid booking meals in advance rather do it on spot, which is better.

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a truly memorable experience. The hosts were extremely warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and gave a cozy homely feeling. The food was freshly prepared and tasted delicious, just like home-cooked meals, which made my stay even better. The location is also convenient, peaceful, and offers beautiful views of Leh.

The Glacierview Guest house is very nearby to leh market. The rooms are very clean and excellent and the food and service is excellent too.

Foremost thing was, they didn't allot us the room we booked. they shifted us to a nearby soviet-era guest house by saying we're houseful. Then How on earth did they confirm my booking & payment transaction in advance and say they're houseful at our arrival without any prior notice.HOW DARE THEY... Leh is filled with such discriminatory treatments to fellow Indian tourists by giving special treatment to dollar-spewing foreigners.

The property is at a walkable distance from Leh market yet away from the noise. The host is kind and helpful. Room was good and clean. The bathroom was clean and like newly built. There is outdoor seating available to relax. Food is available in the premises though I didn't try it other than the breakfast which was basic. The staff is very helpful and goes beyond to satisfy the guests.

I booked family suite for 3 nights from 21to 23 and 26 June but canceled 26th as location is far away from local market. room condition also pathetic. in the room no wardrobe rack etc bound to put luggage in floor. there is no amenities provided even drinking water. very very very bad experience.

Hotel Room was so clean ,Very spacious,Bathroom specious,All staff behave is nice.Hotel location is prime location from where we can move anywhere.Actually we feel like our home.

We arrived a bit early but they were not expecting us at all. After we showed them our reservation they walked us to a building under construction and told us to wait. Clearly there was no room ready because they kept telling different people that they needed to ready a room. (Paper on windows and banging) luckily we found a hotel nearby….

Nice cozy hotel, close to market, clean rooms, courteous staff, surrounded by apple and apricot trees

The staff of the hotel is very friendly and in this budget you get a great deal.. they have heated mattress to protect you from chilled winters of Leh. overall a nice stay

Property is located 5-10 min walking distance from main market. Its in a quite area. One side of property has good views, other side is towards compound. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Check in experience was smooth. Food was well priced and good. We had taken family room and room was amply spacious with hot water, good linens and clean. All in all a very good stay for the rates.

Extremely peaceful stay. Its a budget friendly hotel with clean room and excellent view. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They make sure you are comfortable. I stayed there with my family and had the best time. Its at the best location 5 min walk from leh market and hence easily accessible. Definitely check this place out.

It’s small decent, affordable place to stay. Walkable distance from the leh market. Food menu is limited and like home food. Room are big and well maintained. Would recommend 7/10 for vfm & staff cooperation.

They had not provided the clean room and as per expectation. No quality food, no buffet. Pathetic exp.

My stay was good ,15-20 drive min from the airport Location is good and is about 10-15 min walk from leh market. The food was good (requested for less spiced food for kid, and was taken care of 👍) . Staff is very helpful and always ready make your stay memorable. During our visit access to property was blocked for taxi, due to road repair work and the staff was there for us and for other guests as well due unplanned road repair work in the area. The staff is attentive and always going the extra mile to make our stay pleasant. Cab was arranged for early morning drop to airport. Thanks to Mr. Faizal and the entire team.

The stay for us was an excellent one and it was made special all the more by the presence of the team of umar, faisal, ubaid and yawer. These guys take their hospitality on a different level. The location is perfect, the food was great and the best part of it all was the cleanliness that was maintained. Thanks for making our stay a wonderful experience for our group.

Stayed at glacier view guest house for 4 nights. The room was clean and so was the bathroom with hot water always available. Located near the leh market. The market is at a walking distance yet the property is in a calm area. Nice and friendly staff. Food is just okay. Try the kawa it is good. Many bike rentals are available at a walking distance from the property. Good for couples and families.

Staff were very supportive. Helped us in arranging doctors at door and helped in bringing required medicines and injections late in evening from the market. Overall good experience

Marvelous stay. The hospitality was superb by umer, faisal and ubaid. They made us feel very comfortable and helped in getting bikes and the inner line permit. The food was also good. I would like to stay here again in my next visit to leh. Overall great experience.
