unsatisfactory not worth it...charged extra in F&B dissapointing experience the staff was rude and arrogant

I stayed at this property along with my wife who is a Divyang person using her own wheelchair for movements. I got really disappointed and had a very bad experience at this property.This property has no facility for Divyang person. No slop anywhere. No handicapped friendly room. Apart from this staffs are also not so Divyang people friendly.

The evening outside was so dark that one had to use a mobile flash light for travelling/going to cafeteria and all. No welcome drinks as written Rooms were good but a little over priced. overall nice location.

most beautiful stay ever..the whole property is so neat amr clean . rooms are too spacious specially if u travel with kids. washroom is also very clean and everything is just excellent. staffs are so humble and cooperative. would love to visit again

I have stayed multiple times I’ve the years at this property over many years . From arrival to check in to the assistance to the room , to food and the the staff ‘s service and hospitality , it was seamless and awesome . They improve to a better and better experience every time I stay here .

Everything was fine but the resort lacks basic maintenance and safety protocols, I injured myself from the swimming pool, the injury was a serious one and a little more would have led to multiple stitches. Furthermore the Games room table tennis bats were broken. The staff's behaviour was very good. Additionally there wasn't any lack of cooperation from the staff and management.

1) the dormitory charge for drivers @ Rs 1000 + tax is extremely high. They claim that dormitory has AC but unfortunately it is not working 2) No food arrangements/ bathing arrangements for drivers 3) the property is far away, may be 20 Km+ away from Mayapur temple and is in a forest area. 4) No soap/ body wash in container in the washroom 5) Sitting in verandah is difficult as there are lot of flies around 5) Restaurant food is very good and staff behaviour is also very good. Disappointing Experience at SonarBangla Mayapur – Not Worth the Hype The SonarBangla brand is clearly overhyped across its locations, and my recent stay at their Mayapur property confirmed this. I booked a Duplex room for my family, expecting a spacious and comfortable experience. Unfortunately, the reality was far from it. The so-called "duplex" is poorly designed — the upper floor has just a single bed and an AC unit that barely works. To make matters worse, there’s no fan upstairs, making it unbearably hot during the summer. It felt more like an overheated attic than a living space. The setup might work as a cramped corner for kids, but certainly not for adults, especially when they advertise the room as fit for 6 people. Shockingly, there's only one bathroom for all guests, despite the room being listed for multiple adults. The food was decent in taste but heavily overpriced for what was served. Overall, this property — like others under the SonarBangla name — seems to rely more on flashy marketing than actual quality or comfort. It's not value for money and felt more like a gimmick than a genuine hospitality experience. I wouldn’t recommend it unless they seriously revamp both their property standards and pricing strategy.
