• Edakkal Caves (31 km) is famous for its exquisite rock and wall carvings which are estimated to be around 5000 BC to 1000 BC and known for their historical and archaeological significance. These pre-historic caves measure 96 ft long and 22 ft wide.
• Soochipara Falls (16.6 km) is a three-tiered waterfall which is best from January to June and is popular with picnickers. These waterfalls are 200 meters high, has a cliff face which is ideal for rock climbing and forms a large pool at the bottom where one can enjoy swimming.
