Watehalli Homestay

Out family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Watehalli Homestay for couple of days and the experience was wonderful. Nischala ma'am and Vinod (caretaker) were such gracious hosts, we felt homely. The properly is located amidst a coffee estate and there are also pepper trees scattered from which we get an awesome pepper flavour in the air. There is a stream that is 5 mins walk from the homestay and the kids enjoyed playing in the safe water. They also take you through a night Safari that was a different experience. The food is the local food, the same that the homestay owners also consume, so it is healthy and tasty. (Dont expect to much variety). Overall I would give 5/5 stars! Ms rashmi ensured that we reach the property by guiding us continuously n the hospitality was good. We got to taste the local cuisine n the food was to our personal choice. Very tasty n served with warmth. There’s a creek in the property. We would pack a snack and have a mini picnic at the creek in the lap of nature while enjoying the sounds of nature with feet soaked in gushing water. We had an excellent time walking on the trails of the coffee plantation. We would take different paths each time n find ourselves in beautiful scenic locations. Being dog lovers we enjoyed the unconditional love that was showered on us by the pets on the property. All the staff n every person u come across on the property is very friendly. Thanks to rashmi n robin for their personal care n made our stay very fulfilling.

A great homestay with all facilities and an amazing host who always made sure we are comfortable and happy. The location is a bit remote but its very peaceful and away from all hustles and bustles. You can enjoy all sorts of outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball and badminton and also indoor games like cards, carrom and chess. Food is excellent and served hot. We have loved the coffee in the evening and the snacks. Hygiene is maintained effectively and all washrooms including the one in the dining area are neat and clean. Overall great experience and will definitely recommend other visitors.

Post break for our regular routine we had a very fine day with Watehalli Homestay. Surrounded by lush green and a morning or evening estate walk will make you forget the rushed city life and make you feel light. Special thanks to the host Mrs Nischala and Sir who took care of us. Provide us comfort and they served us home made food which is delicious. This property offers big swimming pool (kids & Adults split area) which is one of the top attractions. when you walk into this property you can sight watercourse which is scenic. Overall a memorable day in our books with new friends (Host).

We had a nice time at Watehalli Homestay. The coffee plantation in the property is great. Night safari in the plantation was a unique experience for us. The food was delicious. Supervisor Vinod made sure that we got great service. Nischala, the owner of the property, was very friendly and ensured we had a good time during the stay. Will visit again soon.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing missing was a tv in the room. Overall food was of good quality and tasty. Chicken during lunch was too spicy, maybe that could be made a little mild for everyone to have. Hospitality was excellent and many sports, games options were available. Would recommend for a family stay.

It was pretty cosy and comfortable stay amid-st a coffee plantation, the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. Food was pretty simple yet tasty, overall it was a pleasant stay.

The location was good . There was a small stream near the home stay to enjoy. It was raining during the time we visited, so we couldn’t use the swimming pool and other activities available. Overall good stay and the food provided was home cooked and i liked it.

Great hospitality & amazing property, the view from my room was scenic. The coffee estate is huge and the night safari was just amazing. Thanks to the staff especially roshan who was very cordial. A must visit for people who want to take a break from the chaotic city life.
