Shirori by Kaarah

This is located in A peaceful place, far away from the hustle and bustle of the City. Signage board shall be there to guide the way to the hotel. Its difficult to reach to hotel. Wifi and mobile network is not there. Food provided in hotel is not good. Property and this place is very good close to nature.

Shirori is the place where you will find peace. With beautiful Valley view, bird's singing, trees dancing with the breeze. We stayed here for 2 days and it was like a therapy. We enjoyed star gazing the bonfire. A total disconnect from your regular stressful life. 1-night stay is not enough. Cozy bed, unique rooms, amazing staff. Had an amazing stay.

Place is quite secluded. If you are looking for that then this is the place. Didn't find any hiking trails nearby which was a disappointment. Large area but nothing much done in that space. Can make much better common areas with stuff to do while there since there is literally nothing else to do there. Food was okay but very pricey. Per person per meal for homemade dal and subzi. But the caretakers were helpful generally. Rooms are basic furnished. Bathrooms not the most well maintained but manageable easily. Location is the best part of the property but it could be much better in some other aspects overall.

The view is stunning, very peaceful and the only noise you will hear are the birds chirping and wind blowing. The staff has to be given full marks as they were really helpful and polite. Nainital is almost 18 km. If you are into offbeat places, simple food and scenic views this is the place. The only issue we faced were the food price.We had one bowl of rice and dal which was shared between two people and they charged lot for the same. Irrespective of what you eat as in the items of your plate, the amount is fixed for per person for Lunch and simultaneously for Dinner. Apart from this we had the best time.
