This hotel is around 1. 5 km from golden temple, but hotel falsely claims its just 850 m - images shown for super delux rooms are differnt than actual room. Images shows bit larger on mmt with couch but actually very small room given. - no toiletries provided - no dental kit - dirty bucket for taking bath - they have tv but no dth connection, even for smart tv they don't have any subscription - no food available in the hotel, they will just provide you ro filled water bottles and tea pouch - if you are pure vegetarian, this hotel is not for you, this hotel is surrounded by meat shops - no lift in hotel, all rooms are on 2nd or 3rd floor, they expect us to climb stairs regurally to stay fit - dirty kettle in room, staff not even responsive to get that cleaned even after several calls - they have centralised water heating system, and that remain closed. Even after repetitive reminder they didn't switch on the water heater.

Rooms ( bit small, enough for couple), washroom were neat and clean, but for each and everything, u need to call reception. Lever of tap was not working and hot water was coming and same was rectified by switching of the central geyser. There was nothing in washroom to hang up cloths. Same can be improve. Though staff was available on call.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at sehdev residency, and unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations. While there were some positive aspects, there were several significant issues that i believe need to be addressed to enhance the guest experience. Starting with the positives, the rooms at sehdev residency were decent. They were adequately sized. The bedding and furnishings were relatively clean and maintained. It was evident that some effort had been put into creating a functional living space for guests. However, my overall stay was marred by several negative factors. First and foremost, the staff behavior was downright rude and unprofessional. It's disheartening to encounter such behavior, as it severely impacts the overall impression of the hotel. Simple gestures of politeness and courtesy were missing, and it felt as though the staff were disinterested in providing a pleasant experience for guests. To make matters worse, there was a glaring lack of basic services that one would expect from any hotel. There were no water bottles or toiletries provided in the room, forcing me to repeatedly contact the front desk for these essentials. Additionally, the absence of cutlery was surprising and inconvenient. Compounding these issues, the air conditioning in the rooms were not functional, which made the stay uncomfortable, especially during the hot days of august month in north india. The lack of a properly functioning ac significantly detracted from the quality of the room. Adding to the disappointment, the cleanliness of the rooms was subpar. I noticed dust, webs accumulation in various corners, and the overall tidiness left much to be desired. In conclusion, my experience at sehdev residency daljit b&b was far from satisfactory. While the rooms themselves were decent, the negative aspects significantly overshadowed any positives. The rude staff behavior, lack of basic services including water bottles, toiletries, and cutlery, along with the non-functional air conditioning and dirty rooms, collectively created an unsatisfactory stay. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and takes the necessary steps to improve the overall guest experience at the hotel.
