excellent hospitality from host. they especially came from thier home town during diwali holiday so thay our booking can be honoured as well as provided us non veg food on our request though they are vegetarian. good place to stay for the budget traveller, young people and family. room hygiene is good. its located at about 250 to 300 meters from kalika temple and includes a downhill mountain trail of about 100 meters and hence may cause issues to old people to climb uphill. you can get sharing taxi from ranikhet market towards almora/kalika in 30-40 Rs. only recommendation is not to roam around after sunset as its a jungle area and you might encounter wild animals in open.

Great place to stay as the host Mr. Rahul is a great personality. All the required assistance was provided without any delay. Delicious pahadi meals available on request. Clean and spacious rooms. Would love to book again.

It was an awesome experience to stay at Ija Homestay. I travelled with my family and we all enjoyed the stay. The host Mr. Rahul is a great person and very helpful, be is directing which route to take, how to reach, personally welcoming and accommodating requests like travel arrangements for local sight seeing. The food was brilliant (better than any restaurant). I would highly recommend them.
