Hotel Tashi Delek

It’s a hotel without any service. They have no room service.I paid with room upgrade per night. And that is what I got, just a room. Nothing else. Even the breakfast that was offered, they told me to go to the restaurant and if I want, I can carry my food to the room. Like, I would have to do that. If we ask for water, it felt like they were going to manufacture it, that’s how long they took. Tashi Delek Hotel is just in name now, not worth at all.

i have mentioned the below points which I dislike about the hotel 1. I have call 4 to 5 times for water 2. too expensive as per the condition and facilities 3. The behaviour of some employees was not good and looked aggressive.

Tashi Delek is a Gem of a Hotel for the most relaxing stay in Gangtok. It's Bang on MG Road, the restaurant and the Bar are too good. The views of Kanchenjunga from the rooms are amazing. The property has been very tastefully done up, the Staff and Owner are very helpfull and make utmost efforts to make the stay extremely comfortable.

It was an amazing stay at the hotel, the only issue we faced was from Make my trip's end as the hotel wasn't informed properly about the kind of room we were paid for. Since we are frequent visitors to the hotel, they upgraded us to better rooms and amenities.

Nice food and nice location,helpful staff and spacious room except washroom which is very small.

The hotel is located right in the hear of MG market. You can roam around the market and come back to have dinner at their open terrace. The entrance is small door on the street of MG market and can be difficult to spot on first day of your stay. When you enter inside you go through well lit lobby. Reception area feels airy and welcoming . You actually enter from terrace floor and rest of the rooms are below the entrance. Their open terrace is great and offers view of the zen hey monastery and on clear day you can see the mountains on the opposite side. The rooms are spacious with 1 kind bed and 1 single bed. The bathroom size is also good. You get free water in bottles that can be found in the hall way. I would recommend to stay for at least 3 nights and enjoy the market, shopping great collection at Pantaloons and flower street.

Very good hotel with comfortable stay. Rooms were spacious with Mountain View. Outside also there is seating area with Mountain View. Hotel also has rooftop dining. Staff was very courteous and helped me with keeping the luggage in cloak room.

Outstanding Location,on the MG road itself. Staff is very good and food quality and ambiance is also outstanding.Overall excellent experience staying there.

Visited in Nov 24. Hotel has a clear view to Kanchenjunga mountains. Food was awesome including the breakfast . Tried local food here including thukpa, faley, momos. The staff was friendly.

Hotel service very bad its too much costly for tea @ 310 per cup tea. Hotel staff not friendly. Room service not available

Location at mgmarg which is central for shopping etc. Double room with another furnished guest provided. Food is extremely hygienic mainly breakfast is just like 5star hotel. Enjoyble with living, food and hospitality. Restaurant is very big like party making place with a beautiful bar. At present no room service but enjoyed happily

We were given 114 room, there is exhaust phane making noise and we could not able to sleep, we have asked for change in room and after lot of discussion they changed to 115 even there there is noise. Over all experience is below average on the stay. The location is advantage and food served in hotel is fine.

Aside from the favorable location and view, there seems to be a lack of value for the amount paid at the hotel. It may be beneficial for those in the hospitality industry to educate the staff on proper practices. The staff often prioritizes serving restaurant customers over running the hotel, leading to occasional neglect of hotel-related duties.

foods and amenities are good but a little too expensive considering that there are other nearby hotels who are giving the same services at cheaper rates. Another problem is that this hotel has no room service which means I have to get to their restaurant to order something.

Okay. Tashi delek gangtok is a good property. It's location is unmatched as it's ambience. Very spacious place open bar restaurant is really mood turning food is good service is nice buffet breakfast is good too
