Food, Location, facilities all are good

Rat is there they destroyed my Laptop bag and feeding bottle. Never go to this hotel and nobody giving proper response.

Everything is very good, room are well maintained and clean. Staffs are ver good, food is excellent.

We visited puri on several occasions and this time we wanted to stay at a place which is quiet, and opted for a room from where we can watch waves from our bed. That's why we booked the ac platina front sea facing room and it matched exactly our requirements. Rooms are clean, well appointed, food is good at the restaurant and roof top cafe, staff are helpful and courteous. There are few things that we think could have been better are the options at breakfast, width of room, size of bathrooms.

The location is good. The room was bigger & clean. The toilet was too bad. Small with old fixtures, small basin, no separate shower area, no racks, no exhaust, ventilation through corridor, no direct sunlight. It was very smelly.

Communication is well but bed of the room is not comfortable. Food quality is not up to the mark. Service is good.

The hotel was average . But the grounds staff and bell boys are too good , polite and super efficient. The hotel needs to take care of the people in the reception . Ladies handling the desk and very rude and incompetent to deal with the customer .

Unforgettable stay at Hotel Sonar Bangla- a true gem right on the Sea Beach on New Marine Drive! We booked the AC Platinum Front Sea Facing room and it did not disappoint. The view was simply breathtaking, with the waves crashing right outside our window. The room itself was cozy and well-appointed, making for a relaxing stay. Kudos to the housekeeping team - they were top-notch, ensuring our room was always spotless and tidy. Food-wise, we were blown away by the delicious options available. Whether it was a beachside snack or a proper sit-down meal, everything tasted amazing. Don't miss the Cafe cum Bar at the top. If you're looking for a beach front hotel with fantastic views, great service, and yummy food, HSB is the way to go. Wish to get back there again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The staff was courteous and went above and beyond. You can’t beat the location. We had a suite room and the extra living space was very welcome. Overall 5 stars

The property is very well located, right by the beach. Ideal for those looking for a peaceful stay a little away from the hustle and bustle of Sargodwar. Food was really tasty. I loved the ambiance if the roof top restaurant. The bengali cuisines served at the other restaurant ( at basement) were also top notch. As for the rooms, we were slightly unfortunate to be offered accommodation right in front of reception. These rooms were quite noisy due to chit chat of guests znd staff around the reception area. Further sea facing rooms on the ground floor seem to lack privacy In spite of repeated requests during our 3-day stay, management didn't offer us an alternate accommodation - something I thought should have been done. Also may be a one off incident, but I did spot pests occasionally in the room. This is also not expected from a hotel of such repute. Finally the staff. Most were extremely courteous and helpful. Full marks in this department.

The property's location was next to the beach and was easily accessible by local transport. Food was excellent. Amenities and services were excellent.

Located on a tranquil trail of sea shore at Puri beach, the Sonar Bangla is a blissful experience. Staff is helpful, restaurant provided exotic food and hospitality. Special mention may be made of the cafeteria at the terrace.

The property is located right near the golden beach. it was only few steps away from the beach, that was a big plus. Apart from this, nothing was praise worthy- 1. The room had no space for keeping the baggage. 2. wash room was very very basic. 3. Breakfast options were very limited and repetitive. Quality of food was below par. 4. The hotel has no open space for recreational purpose. 5. Check out time of 8 am is not comfortable. Hotel staff are very particular that you vacate the room by 8 am.
