Extremely Disappointing Stay — Poor Maintenance and AC Issues

We had stayed at Hotel Platinum Inn, Ahmedabad in the past and had a pleasant experience, which is why we chose to stay here again. Unfortunately, this visit was extremely disappointing. We had booked two rooms, and the ACs in both were not functioning properly right from the start. Despite reporting it, the issue persisted, and we had to change rooms multiple times. In one of the rooms, the AC and fan stopped working around 1 AM, causing severe discomfort and suffocation — I had to change the room at 1:15 AM in the middle of the night. The next day, the AC in the changed room stopped working again. The maintenance quality was extremely poor. We even found cockroaches in the room, and the taps and showers were full of scale deposits, clearly indicating a lack of upkeep. The only saving grace was the Silverdine restaurant, where the food quality remained good as usual. However, the buffet breakfast options were very limited, and the restaurant should consider adding more variety to the menu. Overall, this stay was far below expectations, especially given our previous good experience. The management really needs to focus on basic maintenance, cleanliness, and functional amenities before this property loses its regular guests.

Poor Stay

The room did not have a coffee machine, even though it was mentioned in the hotel details that one would be provided. They also tried to overcharge me... they added the cost of a mineral water bottle to my bill even though I never took it. Later, when I pointed it out, they admitted that the water bottle was just kept in the fridge.

Gst invoice refused at check out

soloExtremely poor service by front desk staff. Refused to give me tax invoice for room at time of checkout since i paid 100% advance via mmt. Highly unprofessional and dare i say criminal conduct to refuse to issue gst invoice. Rooms and accommodation is also submitted par. I was put up on 4th floor where it was extremely hot. Ac in room started was very weak. Overall will not comeback here at any price point. Restaurant was good veg cuisine and gave good service. The check out time at 9. 00 a. M make the entire experience very bad. In the lobby, only one ac is switched on where the front desk staff is sitting. Other two acs in the guest sitting area is key turned off.
