Hotel Norbu House

Very comfortable rooms… Staff are very hospitable and they go the extra-mile to really make you feel at home… Breakfast spread is quite good. Lunch and dinner were prepared well. There was no parking available in the hotel but they arranged for parking elsewhere. The approach to the hotel is not as nice since there is a construction going on and one has to pass through the construction site to get to the entrance. This was our only sour point

Great people and passionate about what they are doing! They took care of hiring a cab with a very nominal price and provided a map with the places to visit! Food had variety from South North and continental with veg and non veg varieties! They had different flavours of tea as a highlight! Butter Tea was awesome and their Tibetian touch was awesome! The room was clean and a wonderful job on cleaning day on day! Recommended for a family trip and very close to the main temple!

The hotel is in a great location. Only 8 minutes walking distance to the main market. Rooms are spacious and good. The open terrace in the lobby level is beautiful. Good hospitality

The location of the hotel is great with a lovely view of the valleys and mountain peaks . The staff is super friendly and helpful. The food was somewhat boring.

I faced terrible difficulties with the spiders and various other insects on the fourth floor, as well as getting stuck in the lift twice during several power outings. However, the amenities were good and the food was decent. I would stay again, perhaps on lower floors (2nd floor. I even found a spider inside the freshly delivered towels to my room. The staff are always willing and helpful. The view was amazing!

The best part is the hotel location with valley view and every small intricacies which they take care.

Had a wonderful stay. Hotel ambience is great. Staff friendly and helpful. Location is inconvenient but the view makes up for that. Food and amenities very good. I shall stay at nor-bu house in my next visit for the pleasant feeling that i experienced during my 3 night stay.

Excellent hotel nor-bu house. Culturally rich. You can have a good view of valley from the hotel. Amenities are good. Service is quick. People are friendly and humble. Food is good too but has scope for improvement. Morning breakfast was good but needs to have variety every day.

Best property to stay in mcleodganj. Excellent view and spacious rooms. Very neat and clean along with courteous staff.

Super pleasant stay. Nice place for vegetarians. Good rooms. We styed in a suite. Good breakfast with lot of options. Only negative point is the approach road. And steep climb. But otherwise highly recommended. Even stuff in room was complimentary which otherwise would be chargeable. Highly recommended

We received a warm welcome from mr. Tenzing. Excellent view from the room. The staff was very cooperative. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Really peaceful, with an excellent view. Lots of plants. I haven't stayed in such a clean place before. Food not my type, but it was decent.

Initially i was little upset abt the location of hotel. But after living there for two i realised it was the best location. Valley view is fabulous and morning breakfast variety is fantastic and tasty. Owner’s residence is also nearby so they look after property very well. In all a very nice experience. And for vegetarian its a delight as they don’t serve non veg.

Its a nice place to stay with family and has beautiful scenic views, though its a little difficult to reach the hotel if you are planning to take your car. Staff is also friendly. The only problem was that i did not get the room which i had booked and the excuse given was a glitch in their system which resulted in overbooking of the rooms.
