Not Worth It – Scorching Heat and Zero Basic Facilities

I had a very disappointing experience at the Hail Himalaya camp site. On the day of arrival, there was no electricity, and in the extreme heat, it became impossible to stay comfortably. There were no fans, no lights, and shockingly, no backup power either. The staff didn’t offer any proper support or update. For a campsite that claims to offer a peaceful and scenic experience, it was poorly managed and frustrating. Basic needs like power and ventilation were completely ignored. Would not recommend this place unless they fix such serious issues and learn to treat guests more responsibly.

Dear Harpreet Ji, Regret for the inconvenience caused, you have booked the lowest category with common washrooms & does not have fan facilities. Guets always have contact and we wish you would have called us before booking and we have clarifird you things before booking. Evey booking which was made offline, they were told and guied stay related details so that no should reach surprised. We expect our guests to connect us in case of any assistance or details required before bookig. Contacts are availabel everywhere on good etc. I hope we would be assisiting you next time well in advance before booking. And for electricity, we have genset, not operational during day time, as we engage guests in other adventure sports activities and once the sun is about to set, the backup automatically turned ON. In the end, we appreciate that you have posted your feedback. Thanks & Regards

The property is located too far off from shimla. Also the road was risky. The staff there was a little rude and didn't get involved in the activities. The adventures they offered like climbing etc were not in good condition. The food was good, but the staff didn't arrange any activities for fun as claimed.

Actual while we was on way to hail Himalayas manager sent the location that was wrong. After that we have to spend more 2 hrs. After reached they said no lunch will be given because you are late.

Regret for the inconvenience caused. Delay in check -in might result into "no lunch" because it's a nature camp and we have schedule of event which happens time after time. If we serve during adventure activities time then that will be difficult for operations to manage. After covid, staffing and new joinings are less in hospitality industry due to uneven operations ca-sued by lockdown. I hope you understand our concerns too. Regards team hail himalayas

coupleIt's a good place but you have to point out the things which are good because there are few. Himachal has a lot to explore and Hail Himalayas is not something which I will recommend anyone to go. You can have a really much better place at that price. It doesn't feel like Himachal.
