Very poorly managed hotel.

The walls in the room are flaking and the floor tiles are uneven. Come to the bathroom and there is a bathtub just fitting in there, but it does not leave any place for the occupant to step around. The cisterns are leaking or not working. The provision for hot water is only available after the hotel staff wakes up in the morning, a regular power-cut at 9 in the morning and no power back-up means you might not be able to take a bath at leisure. Back in the room, the bed-side is against the wall, yes that small a room, and of course no side tables. The windows open straight into the next building or overlook an alley that is used to dispose waste. Also there is just 1 power socket to which is connected a TV where reception is as pathetic as the hotel. Overall, this hotel was a bad experience, a very bad experience.

Rooms were good but food services were pathetic.. Travel desk was not of any help... Though hospitality was warm but co-operation in view of extension of stay was not good... Hope my feedback help you to improve

Hotel Matoshree palace is situated in main market of Mahabaleshwar. This is small budget hotel. It is good for the travelers who travelling by public transport because location of the hotel is near to Mahabaleshwar bus stand. Smooth check in and check out. Average rooms and service is good. Small kitchen is available and food quality is good compare to this categories hotel in Mahabaleshwar. Hotel staff is friendly and cooperative.

Only best part of the hotel is the location, Rest everything is below average and very poor. Water was coming very slow in the bathroom. Room was not like super deluxe it was like a lodge. The location was very good, very near the market. Good for 3 people planning to book this property.

Main advantage is that it is near to main market. Good place to leave for 1 day or 2 days.Service is not so good also food quality is not so good. Rooms are clean but need to be more cleaner. Bathrooms need more clean.

This hotel is real value for money. It is located very close to main market. It had clean rooms and laundry. There is a small boy who works there is very helpful and determined. I had ordered French fries from that hotel but they were to messed up. Very oily and not even cooked.

Hotel location is very good. Room was dirty. No proper ventilation appears. Suffocating room environment. Room freshener spray sprinkled by hotel management but the dirty smell made unpleasant tour. The beds are concrete platform. Tiles of bed platform was broken resulting in poor appearance of room No 103. Restaurant is on the ground floor but due to unpleasant atmosphere of room we avoided to use restaurant.

Very nice hotel and service. They are very helpful. Parking place is also there. Overall my experience at mahableshwar because of this hotel is fantastic. Hotel is very near to market. We ordered breakfast and it was delicious ...

The location of the Hotel is in the center of the town. But don't expect high on the ground of facilities and rooms. The rooms were damp and very small in size. The good side is the staff are very cooperative. They tried to helped us with our needs. It was a average stay.

Hotel was not that much good. Hotel is nearby to Mahabaleshwar stand but there is no WiFi facility at the hotel. Also the position of electric board in the hotel is at wrong place so we faced lot of problem to charge Mobile at the night time.

Hotel was satisfactory as the staff was very helpful... But the property as rated 2 star is a concern that needs to be reviewed. Some amenities to be provided along with the room were missing like water bottle, dining table etc... But all shortfalls were covered considering the strategic location of the place... Nearby restaurant and close proximity to main market made up for all deficiencies. Must go.. Recommend.

We rarely get the booking here because of the location. Location is excellent. Right near the market place. Hospitality is average and they certainly can do better. Not so clean. Not well maintained. No car parking space, need to improve on maintenance of the hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for one day and we did not have much expectations. But it did not meet low expectations. Room was not clean, flush not working, beds unclean and to top they do not even provide 2 towels per room. Location is the only plus point

Torn towels and dirty blankets or quilts, even after asking for replace they could not provide a better one. May be they do not have better one. Windows in the bathroom have transparent glasses installed. Taps like facilities in the bathroom need repairs.

It was nice stay there. The hotel location is in the middle of Mahabaleshwar market. But it was costly, that might be due year end. I stayed there with my family members. Everyone of us enjoyed our trip.

Overall experience was very good . Hospitality was awesome and have taken care of local travel too. Felt like home. Will recommend others as its worth for money. Room size was optimum. Location is in heart of market makes everything easily accessible.

The hotel was not at all good and not cleaned at all. The doors of bathrooms did not had a proper latch and bathrooms were dirty. The television quality was not good the hotel staff was okay. The view from my floor i.e third floor was nothing but a market. I will not recommend to go.

Location, service and hospitality was excellent. Food and rooms was good. Area of concern was the washroom needs an up gradation. Room rates was affordable as compared to Pier hotels. Overall experience was good.
