It was quite far from main city & in very isolated place, food availability was not there & very far to reach any restaurants to get food.

We never mislead anyone. As a homestay not a hotel we focus on serving freshly prepared meals within the specified kitchen hours to ensure quality. The photos are very misleading.rooms are not so clean and the way to the hotel is dirty and full of dog shit and bathroom pipes.the blankets are dirty.there is no shower or mug in the bathroom and little space to hang your clothes/towel in the bathroom.

Thank you for your feedback. However, we’d like to clarify a few points: Our photos are genuine and the same ones shared on WhatsApp and Google. Cleanliness is our priority blankets, pillow covers, and bedsheets are changed after every checkout. The condition of the main road is unfortunately beyond our control. We don’t have a shower, but every bathroom has a bucket and mug for convenience. Guests also have full access to the balcony and terrace to hang clothes. We wish you had informed us during your stay, we would have resolved these issues immediately.

Thank you for your review. We gave you mountain view room with balcony for rs800 . I hope you understand that you won’t get that deal any other place . Guests book the same room for rs2500 and they enjoy it and they have no complaints. I don’t know what you wanted to be better but thank you for your time. Cheers .

A Comfy Stay at Grand Cassa

Our stay at Grand Cassa was truly delightful. The breathtaking view added to the charm, making every moment special. The hosts, Jeson & KBF (apologies if I mispronounced the name), were exceptional, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience. The location is perfect—within walking distance of the Peace Pagoda and close to the vibrant Darjeeling market. A wonderful stay overall!

Hotel Scenic View

The decision of choosing the stay was totally worth it. The view from the balcony was majestic, we were able to spot the Kanchenjunga. The behaviour of the property owner was very welcoming and friendly. The food served was also good and we were offered a welcome tea too.

Excellent Stay

They say the people make the place. this was especially true during our stay at Grand Casa where the team took good care of us. Set slightly offbeat from the main city, this place is a stone's throw from the Japanese Peace Temple. So walls to the beautiful temple and a glorious view of the mighty Kanchenjunga is an easy daily activity one can do here. You get to wake up to a mind-blowing site of the city nested within the glorious mountains with tall trees around you. The team who hosted us have us excellent cafe and travel suggestions for our 5 days there and everyone of them were truly top notch. we even got to participate in a Momo Baking session! Big thanks to the same team! will be going there again...

Grand casa- an emotion in the hills fantastic, mesmerising, awesome, lifetime experience me and my family had in this homestay. Keviv and jeson are such polite, noble souls. May god bless them. They took great care of us. We travel-led with a one year old. We stayed tension free.

Our stay at grand casa was an unforgettable escape into the beauty of the mountains. The panoramic views were simply breathtaking, offering a serene backdrop to every moment of our stay. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing retreat. However, what truly made our experience exceptional was the hospitality of the host. They were polite, respectful, and incredibly accommodating throughout our stay, making us feel like a welcomed guest in their home. Grand casa truly lives up to its name, offering a grand retreat in the heart of nature. We can't wait to return to this tranquil mountain haven. P. S - additional thanks to jerry for catering to all our special requests. We travel-led with our toddler and he catered to every request that we put forward for her needs. He cooks the best pancakes and can give sonam's kitchen a run for their money.

One of the best homestays in darjeeling

One of the best places to stay in darjeeling. The location is a bit offbeat (15 minutes walk from the darjeeling railway station) but waking up to those panoramic mountain views makes it oh-so-worth it. The food served is deliciously fresh and the managers are very warm and hospitable.
