worst booking I have ever made

I booked the hotel for my sister and when I took her for check in they didn't allow me to go to even check the room.. they said visitors can only wait in reception.. I asked to add me as a guest which they initially denied.later I called MMT and I was added as a guest and had to pay 500 just to get a entry to the room.Unfair practice
