Pros: The homestay was hygienic and well-maintained. The location is excellent, with Dal Lake within walking distance. Cons: One concern was the staircase – the steps were quite high, making it difficult for elderly guests to use them comfortably. The lighting throughout the homestay, especially in the dining area, was dim and could be improved. The tap water had a strong smell of bleach, which was unpleasant. Additionally, there were frequent instances of load shedding. While the food was average in taste, the portion sizes were generous. Notably, we also found two centipedes in the room on the upper floor, which was quite concerning for me personally.

Dear Swarup, Thanks for your review We prepared Dal, rice, Aloo bhaja and Omelettes keeping in cognizance the Indian taste. I wish I could understand more from you as to how to prepare it better to suit your taste. We don't use bleach at all in our water reservoir as we also use the same water for over almost years now. Centipedes issue will be addressed but as much as we remove because of the green surroundings around, they tend to attract as lizards do in other parts of the country

I would like to thanks the owner and their staff for the hospitality, It was a great stay, owner was so kind and friendly, everything was perfect, they maintained their property so good, even five star hotels are not providing this much cleanliness and ambiance, would love to visit again.
