Avisa Island House

Overall its a good stay, but the price make my trip is charging is too high. Location is good, but facilities inside the house is moderate , not worth . Just for Ambience its too high price. Food are charged extra, so doesn't want to comment here.

The property is situated at an ideal location between beach and backwaters. The staff is very accommodating and helpful. Manager at the property is very well mannered and friendly. Peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The property usp is it's location, one side you have the sea and within just 100 ft you have the backwaters. Option to avail meals in house was also great. Overall, amazing experience during my 2 day stay at avisa.

The place is very beautiful with backwaters in the backyard and sea in the front. The hospitality by host is very good. The food provided was traditional home-made Kerala style dishes. Worth the travel and value for money. Would love to visit again.

It's a recommendable property for all. Delicious food provided, nice staff, nice room, facilities, and the services were also good. Location was also very easy to reach. All good, no minus point.

Located on a narrow strip of land between the sea and backwaters, Avisa is a wonderful option for a quick getaway in north Kerala . While the rooms are a bit small, I guess visitors wouldn't spend too much time inside. Well taken care by Ajish, Satish and rest of the staff.
Could use better linen and curtains.

For the price, the room was very basic, extremely hard and uncomfortable beds, AC was extra, food was good but expensive for what it was, coffee at breakfast was charged extra though breakfast was supposed to be complimentary. Pretty clean. The family were very friendly and helpful. The location was fantastic, beautiful beach and backwaters so that is why you are paying a premium price!

The location is absolutely fabulous. Given the fact there is nothing much to do/see in Kasargod apart from Bekal, the resort is more or less a destination in itself. The service is simply excellent- Mr Ajeesh (the promoter/owner) has taken it upon himself to make the guests feel pampered by personally acquainting himself with the guests and complying with all kinds of requests.

My wife and I, traveled to Avisa over the Eid weekend and had a great stay at the place. The property is located with placid Kerala backwaters on one side and the sea on the other. The beach house is a beautiful combination of traditional Kerala architecture and modern amenities. In addition Ajish and his staff played wonderful hosts and providing us with great service. The food is traditional Kerala food and is quite tasty, all prepared fresh in the kitchen. I would highly recommend visiting these guys for a nice romantic getaway.

Fantastic place with beach and backwaters. Food was good though not traditional Kerala style. We had only veg. Boating in backwaters was also good which was arranged by homestay staff. The place is not commercial hence good.

It's very nice home stay in between beach and back waters ... Excellent atmosphere. Loved it. Food is so tasty and natural. Service is superb. Near to Payyannur. Boat service is superb to enjoy the nature through backwaters.

It was a good place to relax.. I used to start early morning with a beach jog followed by the breakfast. View from the balcony is delightful. It's a rare place where backwater and beach is so close. Their kitchen serves good local food. Staff is courteous and is very helpful.
