Vayal Veedu

Property is beautiful surrounded by lush forest. Mr Avinash and Mr Ajay took good care of us making our stay memorable. Food was really excellent. We could sight peacocks and deers from our room.

Our recent stay at Vayal Veedu in Wayanad was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the serenity of the lush surroundings, the warm hospitality, and the earthy charm of the property. Nestled amidst paddy fields and forested hills, Vayal Veedu truly lives up to its name — a home amidst the fields. The room was impeccably designed — spacious, warm, and deeply connected to nature, yet equipped with all the comforts one could ask for. The ambience of the entire property is calming, almost meditative, allowing you to disconnect from the outside world and just be. What stood out the most, however, was the extraordinary food experience. The variety, the quality, and the thoughtful presentation of each meal were exceptional. Every dish was crafted with love and attention — regional flavours celebrated, and every member of our family, including our child, was thoughtfully catered to. Whether it was a traditional Kerala spread or a personalized meal to suit our dietary preferences, the culinary journey was simply unforgettable. Special mention to Mr. Ajay, the manager, who led his team with sincerity and grace. His presence was reassuring and proactive — always a step ahead in making sure we were comfortable. Each member of the staff went out of their way to ensure our every request was fulfilled, no matter how small or detailed. The warmth, care, and meticulous attention they offered made it feel like home. In every sense, Vayal Veedu offers an experience that goes beyond a stay — it’s a soulful retreat into hospitality, nature, and comfort. We left with full hearts, nourished souls, and unforgettable memories.

This place is nothing but exceptional. Rooms are quite clean with an excellent view of paddy fields and forests around it. The food was spectacular (we loved kerala style vegetarian food. Above everything, the caretaker - ajayan was remarkably good, and was of great help during the entire stay. I loved my stay at vayal veedu )

Beautiful property located very close to the forest. Well maintained rooms, with all basic amenities and delicious food. The caretaker ajay goes out of his way to ensure the comfort of guest.

Very peaceful stay. Please don't rely upon the go-ogle map. Call them directly and they will tell you the exact location and route map. Food is super good. And the staffs behaviour must be appreciated. They won't say no to any of your needs and requirements.
Have kept sanitize r near the reception and restaurant. Only two rooms are opened for booking. So social distancing is followed excellently
