The Woodlands Hotel

It looks pretty old hotel, but it is comfortable go with if you like to stay with in the city area. Since it is main city you have lot of options for shopping and hotels. Overall quite comfortable stay but need some moderns touch required

We took 3 delux ac rooms for 2 nights stay. It is old building but they maintained well except few things. Pros: * location - easy to access all the tourist spots. Located in main bazaar. * price * friendly staffs cons: * no restaurant * 3 floors. But lift not available. * mouses are playing around. * hot water not available in bathrooms all times due to common solar water heater.

I stayed this place for a group of 4 people. We booked 2 rooms.The location of the hotel is fantastic. You must choose a place nearby this place. It's on the main market road and well connected. I can say this place is the middle point which you have to cross for any activity planning.The ambience wise, the hotel is decent. I felt the lighting inside the hotel is quite less. It always feels very dark. The color combinations are so bad, makes it more darker.The rooms are spacious but could have been improved. The telcom doesn't work. You need to visit reception every time if need anything.

Good atmosphere and very supportive staff. Next to kalpetta town

I booked a non-ac room for 3 people. However, there is no space in the room that is meant for 2 people to accommodate an additional person. Further the floor is mat finished, the dirt exists even if they claimed that it is cleaned using a vacuum cleaner. Another big shock for me is food. I booked this hotel mainly because of it contains veg-restaurant, but now there is no restaurant al all!

It on the main road don’t need to search for the place& very friendly staff

Bathroom is not neat enough. Telephone not working properly. Tv remote was not working properly. Delayed response all together.

Food served was good. Restaurant opening time if made it by 7:00 hours would have been more ideal.

No lift and The food is pathetic. Even bed is hard and of a bad quality

Rooms were clean and well maintained, customer service was excellent, but narrow approach Road was a bummer, good was good, near to Town, actually in Town,

Rooms not good, will get better rooms in Kalpetta with cheap price than this.

Hotel has amble facilities. Worth for money

Room was OK. When extra bed was opted the walking space got occupied and couldn't walk around. The bathroom didn't have proper ventilation. Also the room could have got some fresh air.
The hotel has ample parking space. The hotel is located on the very main road and access to bus, auto and shops were very easy. The food wasn't that good. Could have given more tasty and healthy food in right quantity. It was either a lot or too small. We stayed in second floor but there wasn't any lift. My mother got injured and couldn't walk. But she had to climb two floors since there wasn't any lift. For a day's stay for single person it's fine. But for a family or for a group of friends it won't be that comfortable.

Positive:- Good hotel, worth paying the cost, courteous staff, clean rooms. Negative: other hotels gives breakfast in this price range. May be bit small room.
