The Now a Kanikkudi Nature Stay in Kallar

I went there with my wife and parents and had a wonderful stay at this homestay, thanks to the exceptional warmth and support of the host, mr. Radhakrishnan. From offering local tips to engaging in heartfelt conversations, he made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a cozy retreat with a genuinely hospitable host. The homestay is also very quaint and located near a clean river stream surrounded by forest where you can stumble around, even have a bath or just enjoy the nature.

Pros: 1. Nice climate 2. Nice ambiance because it is beside of river. 3. Calm place and 15 km away from ponmudi hill. Here it mentioned as 5km. That is actually the distance to the ponmudi check post. Real distance is around 12 to 15km. 4. Nice breakfast cons: 1. Even if they provided a kitchen, the owner asked for an extra 500 rupees as a kitchen charge. 2. They advertised it as a river side resort but we will never be allowed to swim. Neighborhood people blocked us when we tried to swim. 3. Not that clean enough. 4. Property still undergoing some renovations.

Memorable stay, nice ambiance, wonderful, get chance to know nature

Stay was good and sufficient privacy was ensured at all stages of stay. The owner/caretaker was helpful in making the stay comfortable. Since the facility has only single bedroom, it can be considered as a stay for a couple or max 5 of a single family. Sufficient equipments are available for self cooking. The location is very close to the river, you can listen to the sound of water flow throughout the night

We stayed there on 22nd and 23rd nights 1) cleaning was bad. Utensils were horribly dirty 2) we cooked our food in the kitchen. At the end we were told that rs 300- is to be paid extra as gas charges. I asked that why it was not mentioned at the time of booking, there was no proper answer. 3) we were told initially that we may freely use the washing machine. We naturally used it. Again for that we were charged rs 100- i told the owner that all over the world i never found that any homestay charges extra for cooking food. Moreover the owner enticed us to use the washing machine without telling anything beforehand. Finally when we are leaving he told us to pay.

It’s a great place to stay. It was the best experience staying there. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. This place is very well maintained. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner(aunty. Staff was extremely friendly. Home cooked food was yummy. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. We loved the ambience i would highly recommend this place and i would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you aunt y for being a nice host.
