The himaal is a gorgeous property, perfectly accessible by two and four wheelers. The view of the sunset is better than one from the bier landing site! since it is a homestay, they have laser sharp focus on hygiene. Their no-outdoor-shoes-inside-the-property rule actually makes sense once you see the property on the inside. The rooms are really luxurious and aesthetically pleasing, while keeping sustainability in mind. Considering the property is spread across three floors, their logistics is better than established 5 star The Himaal, Bir | Luxury Boutique Homestays. We needed more water, and there was someone at our door to collect our water bottles, and return them, before we even hung up! their other rules might seem a little excessive at first, but it really helps to give all the guests the best experience possible. Their breakfast was absolutely delicious - i still think about the sevaiyan up-ma and the bread pakoda! bhavan was really helpful when it came to getting taxis, whether for day-trips, or to the airport. The himaal is a beautifully managed homestay. The love and care that they put in really shows. Don’t miss out on playing with joey, their pet dog - he is a certified sweetheart!

Booked himaal very last minute on my way to Barot and I am so glad that I got to experience this beautiful home of bhuvan and sharmila. they are poured their hearts in decorating the rooms and all public areas and you see their hard work in every corner. wish I had more time to admire the place but am definitely coming back here with my family next time for at least 3 to 4 nights to properly enjoy this amazing homestay. also tried their Himachal thali and it was delicious, all staff were very helpful and friendly. must visit and best of the best. 10 out of 5 ♥️

Had the pleasure to experience himaal in bir for just a night while i was going to tirthan and i can easily day that this beautifully decorated homestay is one of the finest ptoperties i have ever stayed in. I may taken taken about 200 photos of the interiors and still would have missed some detail. Owners, bhavan and sharmila have dedicated their heart and soul to this place and one must visit stay here when in bir. Highly recommend and i will come back soon as promised to bhavan with my family for a longer duration. Keep shining himaal )

We saw the property on instagram and fell in love with the vibe and we were so right as it is the most beautiful home i have ever seen in my life. Our room was very comfortable and had everything one need on vacation and at home, small touches like speaker, sanitary pad and hot water bag were perfect and we loved the attention to detail. Coming to food then we tried thukpa and mushroom cheese momos and it was the sort of comfort food you crave for during winter time. Himaal is just perfection and we will be surely coming back soon.

Found this property through MakeMyTrip. The Himaal was one of my most comfortable stays. The vibe was so refreshing. Staff was so humble and informative. Food was good but can be better. Market, hospital and every essential thing is approachable from The Himaal, Bir | Luxury Boutique Homestay. The best thing was owners (Sharmila and Bhuvan) themselves were taking feedbacks on daily basis. I would definitely like to stay there with my whole family again.

The perfect home away from home- we came to bier billing for paragliding experience and ended up experiencing also a home stay. The rooms were nicely decorated and the services catered to our personal needs. The cafe was a cozy place and the food was not only tasty but also freshly prepared. Staff are quick & well mannered. My stay at the himaal bier was incredibly warm and full of love. This luxurious boutique home is a true gem in the heart of bir. The lovely hosts - bhavan and sharmila have put all their heart into making this property perfect in every sense. Lovely food, cutest joey and zaroon along with 360 deg views of the mountains definitely were the highlight of my stay.

Rooms and hospitality is very good. I just want to add one thing, if they can allow tea and some food in the room or in balcony. That will be good experience for visitors.

Beautiful place with great rooms and amenities. You get views of monastery on one side and mountains on the other side. Enjoyed our morning n evening tea with para-gliders in the backdrop. The himaal provided a beautiful place for my kid to enjoy n relish nature.
