Horrible experience. Behavior of the owner and services were very bad. 1) door lock was not working. 2) toilet stink so much that it could not be used. 3) the potato used in the food was stale and was giving a smell. 4) a very unhygienic place with insects everywhere including all water jugs. 5) the location is far from the city. So you don't have other options of food or water. 6) the restaurant is unhygienic. Most importantly when complained, the owner just says sorry and does not intend to take any action to the problems.

This is the perfect location for nature lovers. Everything is so perfect with exquisite food and hospitality.

Retreat location is in a very remote location which gives a great ambiance, staff was very polite and the hotel stay was very good.

Very good location, extremely serene property. It is easily accessible even for senior citizens. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Overall a great experience. Good hotel. Excellent location. Will definitely recommend to friends, provided they want a quiet and peaceful place sans any shopping opportunities in a town/city. The staff (dinesh, souk bahadur, son-am etc) was very friendly. The hotel dogs, cocoa and sheru, were absolutely the friendliest dogs i've seen. They were our guide during our walks to the jungle, the seven mirror lake and around. More details topic-wise below: rooms: fairly private (deluxe) rooms. Big window opens into the forest. Very comfortable beds. Hot water geyser available. Electric kettle available. No room heater available, as far as i know. I didn't need it. But the thick blankets were sufficient. Nearby activities: this is around 5 kms. From the nearest town. And the town itself is very small. There's a buddha park that was nice. And then a newly opened cho-dzo park nearby. My recommendation would be to request for a ride to the buddha park by car (this part is uphill mostly. And if you want, you can walk back after the park visit and browsing the town market. That is what we did. Also, when in sikkim, you must try the zing wine. It is cheap, tax-free, and absolutely fabulous. Walkability: excellent if you want quiet and peace inside a forest area. It seemed very safe. You'll maybe see a house or two every 30 minutes or so of walking. It was absolutely bliss to walk in the sunny winter month of end december. Food & drinks: good food by the hotel staff. Has both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. But they prefer to offer a standard menu. I suspect people don't really appreciate too much variations in their food. Just my opinion - it might be good to add lettuce to the salad, offer some local veg dishes and even offer wine as part of the menu!

Hospitality and a peaceful vibe makes the stay in this place amazing. Away from the hustle and bustle, the friendly staff and even the dogs makes the whole experience wholesome. The food is upto the mark and even the dogs staying in the property make you feel happy and satisfied. Even if you are on a workation this place perfectly fits the bill. The cleanliness of the place, the smiling and the ever helping attitude of the young staff running the place and wagging tails of the dogs makes this a place you should definitely check out. Maybe as a traveller or simply a get away.

Its was good. Behaviour of the stuffs were very heart warming. Teast of the food could be better and prices are a bit high according to me. Location and surrounding environment was awesome.

In short ravishing stay in ravangla means the burfung retreat. Here one will feel the nature's touch. The view is awesome and staff behaviour is more than excellent. Though it's a bit remote location but it's worthy

Location is good. Amenities are also adequate. Hospitality of hosts are warming. Place is calm and quiet. Good place for relaxing and seclusion if looking for that, otherwise also nice place to visit in group.

This resort is located in the woods for a perfect getaway. The place is neat n clean. Enough n helpful staffs available to make your stay comfortable. They even have food facilities n a dining hall. The drive from the main road to the resort through the woods was nice too.

Room is nice. The view is amazing. Try to avoid rainy season here. Come in winter, you will enjoy more. Hospitality is very warm.
