The rooms were not clean enough. The bathroom door was unpainted/covered in black mold. Food was okay.

Nice stay, room were clean and big and good place for both bachelors and family. The food was good and the service was really nice

Excellent location. Property can be better kept....wear and tear visible. Food was edible...no complaints. Room and bathroom floors need re-laying. Can be more flexible in customer transactions....generally tight on adherence to house rules...breakfast timings and late check out (3 hours grace was negotiable and not readily granted).

This was my 4th visit to this hotel, and overall the experience was good as always. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, and the room service was prompt and efficient.When it comes to food, I felt it was slightly average. The dishes could be served at a better temperature, and there aren’t too many options to choose from. Since the number of guests was limited during my stay, the hotel didn’t serve a buffet for 2 out of the 3 days, and instead provided an à la carte menu. While the food quality was fine, I would have preferred more variety.Breakfast could definitely use some improvement — the menu was almost the same every day, with little change apart from the juice. More variety and rotation in the breakfast spread would make the experience much better.Overall, it’s a comfortable place to stay with reliable service, but there’s room for improvement in the dining experience.

As you arrive the Egmore location you will be pleasantly surprised by the expansive parking space and driveway leading to the hotel’s lobby at ground level. The lobby is elegantly laid out with a touch of vintage aristocratic decor. The reception staff are efficient and pleasant. The deluxe room is equipped with a double bed, mini fridge, writing table, wall cupboard, chair, coffee table and single seater sofa along with an attached bathroom equipped with a western water closet and shower. The room is equipped with basic amenities, that is all. Climate control in the room was ineffective. The air conditioning blower was excessively noisy. By now the guest is already gathering a distinct impression that the hotel’s halcyon days have passed. The hotel seems tired and worn out. The buffet breakfast has excellent service staff and a good fare. À la carte lunch and dinner were a pleasant experience because of the excellent service staff but the food preparation fell short of excellent - but it could be judged as good. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city. If one is willing to compromise the above points this hotel is value for money.

Worst experience, they mention buffet dinner but same menu for 5 days which was I stayed, too much prices more than 5 star hotels

Old property but kept very clean and well maintained. Staff is very cooperative and responsive. Food quality is good (had only breakfast). Good location to penentrate into other city areas.

The hotel had a vintage look. The room was verys spacious with an antique cupboard.. whole ambience gave a very good old grand architecture that delighted me.. food was good and never felt heavy.. breakfast had a good variety ... all in all a good experience..

The property location is nearby National Art Gallery, Egmore. The food is delicious and variety of foods in breakfast. Room space is quite large and all facilities are comfortable for us. We stayed in family.
