Excellent location, surrounded by mountains from all the sides. the views are breathtaking!! we can see Kanchanjunga from the bed itself!!! Rooms are quite small though, but comfortable. Food is too costly, better to add food in the package while booking. Note-there is nothing outside for ~3-4km

I stayed at Summit Tashi Ghang Heritage Resort for a night during my trip to Pelling. The place has a vintage vibe, but the rooms look quite old — honestly, they could use some renovation. There’s no elevator/lift to carry luggage, so we had to take the stairs to the 3rd floor. While the staff was helpful, it still felt a bit odd. The room was small for the price we paid, and the bathroom wasn’t as clean as I’d expect — the water faucet in the wash basin area was broken. We also found a few cockroaches in the room, which wasn’t a pleasant surprise. You can also hear voices from other rooms, so privacy is a bit of an issue. That said, the balcony view was absolutely superb — definitely a highlight! Breakfast options were good, and dinner was nice too. The staff were courteous and friendly. Overall, I’d recommend this place only for a day or two if you want to enjoy the view. Not ideal for long stays.

4 star property, 2 star for everything else

easy to find location. but the service is utterly terrible. the price seriously doesn't justify the amenities. my washroom was clogged from the beginning. they changed me to a smaller room for the night. changed me back to my room. that's 4 times packing and unpacking guys. rusted iron nails everywhere on the camping ground. massively understaffed. couldn't fix the tv in 2 days. powercuts. food takes forever to reach you. no wifi. you even have to wait at the dinner for waiters to show up so that you can ask them to fetch a bottle of water. that's the quality of service being offered at this so called 4 star property. if it were a 2 star property, I would complain less. AVOID

Property location was good but isolated from Peiling city . Mountain View are really nice and could able to sea kanchanjunga mountain range from the room as well as hotel premises . However hotel building is old and not so well maintained . Cleanliness is average and so as the food.

familySummit tashi g hang is an old heritage property located at a distance from pelling proper. Rooms are well maintained, amenities provided as promised, services were excellent, staff cooperative and welcoming. We, however, missed the kanchenjunga view due to dense fog and inclement weather. For elderly people it is advisable not to opt for the rooms on the upper floors as there is no lift in the resort. Rest was quite comfortable.

Our stay at tashi gang heritage resort was good. The property is little far from pelling town, so it becomes difficult to access in absence of vehicles. Do book food options in the package while booking the rooms, coz the food prices are on a higher side. Also note the the property does not have lift facility, so for senior citizens pols look for rooms on lower floors.

Basic facilities like water to toilet was not for five hours after check in the hotel, so we couldn’t go to toilet or bath, hotel is located 4 km away from city in full jungle, so taxi transportation was challenging, because of water not available and then brought from other sources, myself fall sick with loose motion, again medical shop not nearby, so i have to wait for next day morning to go to shop to buy medicines so total displeasure hotel come under heritage category, i have decided not to book any hotel in the heritage category in future, rates are always high, what you get old buildings/ old furniture, no proper maintenance

Spent 3 nights here with my mother. It was a fantastic stay! the location is very good with breathtaking views from the room. The food was just excellent. Very well prepared. It was an amazing, marvelous and unforgettable experience here. Myself and my family were here on the day of our marriage anniversary and we were surprised to see our room decorated after we came to room in evening after pelling site seeing.
