Excellent hospitality by entire hotel staff . Clean and hygiene. great food and staff is very polite and excellent service.

Rooms are cozy and good. Staff is polite and breakfast is good. Location is wrong in google maps. It takes you somewhere else, and is your driver don't know then it's a hassle. We reached there late at around 10 pm, location was wrong. We tried reaching out the hotel number given multiple times but they didn't answered our calls, and it became hassle for us to search the hotel at that hour.

Located close to the city centre the property is well maintained. The room was spacious with all the facilities along with room heater. The room service was good, got the required help. The food with ala cate was very tasty. Overall a good stay at the property

The reception staff and restaurant staff are very and nice to interact. The food preparation also excellent. Particularly pulka.

The hotel was hygienic, slippers were not provided even in the suite room. Food was tasty.

Had a terrible experience, don’t go on rating. No doubt before COVID it was very good as this was my second visit but after visiting I came to know that owner has changed still I thought their service will be good but it was totally opposite. At night when electricity went off they didn’t bother to on the inverter we have to make call and request him to on the inverter every single time electricity goes . Their excuses of not starting the inverter was at night who will need electricity every one sleeps this totally not acceptable I am paying for the service how can he decide whether I want or not. Food quality of buffet not up to mark same thing daily. Wasroom all shower fittings were coming out no maintenance at all. Will never visit again

Every thing was just perfect. Staff were very polite and helpful. After long journey from gangtok to zero point and zero point to gangtok, it was like home comfort at the hotel. Whenever i visit gangtok again i will definitely stay at shim portico.

The rooms are clean. The portico suite is spacious and has a clean bathroom. The geyser takes about 10 mins to heat up and water is available 24 hours. You can ask for a room heater and hair dryer. The breakfast menu is small but freshly made. They had puri-bhajji, poha, sambhar, bread toast, tea, coffee, fresh fruits. Ask the restaurant for lemon tea though. The staff is super sweet and polite.
