Stella Maris B&B

Stella mar-is bnb is located on beach road, kanyakumari rooms are big, & good, but do not have any basic facilities available like hand wash, tea making facilities, brush & shaving kits. Air conditioner are meal functioning more often than not. Mr. Jene & sister archana were very cooperative but the service provider persons don't know anything other than tamil language. Very difficult to spend more than a night.

Room service needs improvement.

Pros: the property is located inside a convent. It is situated outside the city and hence is free from the chaos. The location is also close to sunset point. You can literally walk there. The sunset can also be seen from your room if you have a sea view one. The rooms are spacious and clean. Cons: food is sub par here. I would recommend you step out for your meals expect some restrictions on your movement inside and outside the premises. They lock the main entrance gate in night. You'll have to call the contact person to open the gate.

Quality of breakfast was pathetic. Only idli's were served, we had to call the host to get bread. Bananas served for breakfast were of very poor quality second day breakfast did not have any veg option. Kitchen/breakhost host was pathetic, she shouted for all the things. Even to get spoons, bows from her was challenge.

First thing, the team at that location very nice and took care of everything. There was a gap between mm t and property, they had not aware the actual date of check-in. Somehow they managed to get the stay. There was no inhouse food as the property is bit off from town. But they could manage to arrange food for us. Overall stay was good
