A Just balanced stay

Pros - Comfort semi ortho mattress bed with good back support and sound sleep guaranteed. - Bath towels, soap, Hot water, 2 glasses and 1 mineral water complimentary provided. -Clean room, ambient lighting, smoke detector, 43 inch TV with basic malayalam channels and free wifi. - One kilometer to trissur railway station 2 nd platform. -Lift facilities available. -there is a pure veg hotel just opposite to this hotel kalpathi restaurant which provides delicious food. Cons -old hotel renovated. -Sliding door lock difficult to lock from inside. -Room with fan. Only AC which is very old and lacks maintenance. The air throw is very low and takes hours to cool the room. - Bathroom toilet seat needs daily disinfection with paper seals which was not evident. -the sliding door for bathroom has gap even when fully locked and can see through. -the exhaust fan is fully clogged and needs cleaning. -the room was provided with a tray and 2 glasses. The tray had leftover eatables which was not cleaned. -the table had stains which was not cleaned. - the blanket provided is very thin and the bedsheet and pillow covers looked dirty. -the chairs are old and heavy to move. The seating in the chair in not comfortable. Better bring in fibre ones. Overall the stay was just balanced. I was forced to select this hotel for exam centre convenience.

Stayed at sona hotel for a night. The room was good and clean, and the location was perfect on the main street. The staff at night was helpful. No photos

Nice stay. Good room and staff ! but no amenities, no food. Food can be managed by swiggy or zomato or outside. But at-least there is no kettle to make tea or coffee or for hot water. Which was very much needed.
