Sam Desert Camp Jaisalmer

Overall experience was well. Staff are polite and friendly specially mr babu singh (thar driver) he is polite and friendly.

Their actual name is bhati desert camp. As soon as we reached they told you can book a jeep safari. They told you need to move right now only for safari as crowd is more. They told us to pay immediately. We thought camp employee is authentic so we paid. When we reached the point in desert we interacted with other people.

Good place to stay, should definitely be opted

It is a wonderful place and the hospitality of the staffs is amazing. The recreational arrangements are fabulous and its a lifetime experience. I recommend everyone who wish to stay in the desert to stay in this camp

Staff and service quite friendly and helpful but overall stay was below expectations. The so called's per deluxe room can not be clearly distinguished from other rooms. Property name also was not displayed clearly anywhere.

Worst stay, unhygienic, name of property also not mentioned. Whatever you have shown in your website was missing. What we booked and actual is not at all matching.

The Desert Camp was great, clean, staff were amazing. You are regularly checked on to See if there is anything you need. Would defiantly stay there again

Breakfast ok, puri also sabzi, bread jam butter, poha and tea. Tent spacious, attached bathroom with hot water supply. Clean towels and bedsheets. Staff very friendly. I asked them for tea at 11 pm which they obliged. A cultural event just wow. Evening safari and camel ride, we had our personal ride with Jeep guy, which was arranged by camp guys. It's bit costly but negotiation is open. Camel racing boys save your balls. Lunch not so good. Food is the only thing where this camp lacked. PS: During cultural event, I asked one of the guys, if they can provide me a drinks. To my surprise, at 9 pm, one of the guys went to a bit far away shop to bring it. Service can't get any better than this. Since we were unmarried couples, I was bit skeptical of staring eyes and other notions which are generally perceived, but, not even for a second, I thought there was anything unusual. Kudos to these guys. It's a friendly and warm stay for couples.

Samsand desert camp has been permanently closed and we went there as per Google location only to find out there is no such place there. All reviews seem to be fake. Even the number given here never lifted call. Finally, because of goodness of local people we found out that we are allocated in Bhatia camp. There everything is decent. But it's a nightmare.

Overall stay and service was good. Could have been better if mosquito safety was ensured. Camps location should have a name board, as stone mark is not visible clearly so its confusing for tourists.
