SaffronStays Kantaai

The rooms were neat and clean, and being a 1.5-year-old property, it has been well maintained so far. However, the location is quite interior, almost like a small village in the midst of a jungle. This property is more suitable for youngsters rather than families, as there is no live kitchen available. They do have a restaurant about 2 km away, but having access to hot and fresh food on the premises would be far more convenient and advisable. Given its setting amidst greenery, the property should also pay more attention to managing bugs and insects for a more comfortable stay.

The property is very neat and clean and well maintained. Staff were very helpful and courteous. However, it should not be called a villa. It were just separate 2 rooms with a pool. The description is deceiving. Definitely not value for money! As it’s just 2 tiny rooms connected to a plunge pool. Food can be better. Location is quite in the interiors but it’s close to Kihim beach. There’s nothing much to do around and for good food one needs to go to proper Alibaug. Overall it was a decent stay.

A peaceful, luxurious escape in Alibaug! We recently stayed at SaffronStays Kantaai, and it was a truly relaxing and refreshing experience. The villa is beautifully maintained, tastefully furnished, and surrounded by greenery—just a short drive from Kihim Beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Kantaai, however food quality needs to be improved here. Also complimentary breakfast was not available which created lot of chaos as checkout timing was 10 am.

Property is located in much interior part and not easy to reach. Stay was comfortable but pool is shared for two rooms which makes one villa.

Excellent service, food was absolutely amazing!

I was travelling with my husband baby and driver and nanny. The website says it’s a villa but it’s just a room with a pool not a villa very misleading.the caretakers are horrible asked for extra mattress for my baby they said they will charge extra. And the cherry on the cake was rats!there are rats all over the place do not visit even for free

The stay was superb. The host is very nice and helpful. I stayed with my family and it was great staying here.

Excellent stay and very welcoming staff. Hygienic and clean washrooms. Like the setup of two spacious rooms connected to a common backyard space with a private pool.
