Disappointing Stay — Not as Shown in Pictures

The villa was very average and nothing like the pictures shown online. The pool was quite small, and when we arrived, everything including the pool, floor, and tables was unclean and poorly maintained. The property overall looked neglected. The host was not very understanding, and even the house help wasn’t very helpful. Moreover, the road leading to the villa is in terrible condition it’s unsafe for car tyres, with no signboards or proper directions. Definitely not worth the price or the hassle.

I had booked Serene Vila, Alibaug at Ekostay, however I was informed that there is a power failure at the vila and I was given a choice to stay at another place called Oakwood Chalet, the place was good no problem at all, however I had booked a stay with ekostay because of the pictures I saw of Serene Vila where I did not get to stay which was little disappointing. But overall it was good.

The facility is fantastic with good standard of hygiene and cleanliness. However there are few scope of improvements. Since the facility is in a remote location, there should be 24 x 7 security so that the visitors have a feeling of safety and security. Location is a slight remote from major tourist spot. Approach road has to be properly done. Right now it is extremely bad and unsafe. Food is good. Amenities is good. Servuce is good
