Thangkharang Cottage

The stay was pretty good. We, group of 7, stayed here for 2 nights. The staff (prince bhai) was really nice and helpful. We were provided with clean and hygiene room, morning tea, packaged drinking water and bonfire. The only issue was that there was no internet (wifi was temporarily not available, but we were informed about that beforehand. Highlights: cleanliness 10/10 ambience 9/10 caretaker behavior 10/10

Heard a lot about this place that there will be frequent current off, bugs problem. None of this happened. The cottage was well decorated with christmas lights, there was free wifi. And about the nature you will get the best scneric view from the park. Quality of food is not as high standard but you can manage. Every evening there was bonefire. Pocket friendly than the other homestay.

The cottage is very beautiful and clean. it is located in a scenic place. It is just near to Thangkharang park, which is again one of the less known place to visit in Cherrapunji. Staff and owner are also very polite. And yes....icing on the cake of this stay is the home food they provide.

Excellent experience. They are very cooperative. If you want to stay far from gatherings, want to enjoy the beauty of nature, want to live few days with peace just stay here. I loved this a lot.
