Excellent Stay

The location was perfect to unwind and relax. The hosts are lovely and they take care of you and guide you to do things throughout the stay. Would recommend staying for longer to have the best experience. The food is home cooked and served hot. No complaints at all!

Amazing place, amazing location and amazing host this is what i will say about this place. Situated 3 kn inside binsar bird sanctuary this place is a must visit if u are on a trip to almora and nearby areas. Clubbed with bird watching and trekking trails and joshi family's amazing hospitality this makes a wonderful experience in mountains. I would say this was a complete package if u are travel-ling to uttarakhand for a change from your routine life. 2 km trek to get to this home stay makes the experience even more enjoying. A must visit for all nature enthusiasts.

Binsar joshi cottage - experience the tranqu

Joshi cottage is located at such a great place that you can experience tranquility of nature, scenic beauty, birds cheerping, calm wind, view of himalayas, open sky at night and much more. If you are into meditation, no efforts needed, the place itself is meditating. Their homestay is very well maintained, the whole family is good host, they make sure you are comfortable during your stay and enjoying near by sightseeing and help you make arrangements and guide for the bird sanctuary trail. Home made local food that they serve is awesome. Overall its a great place and by far the best place i booked via makemytrip. Ps: this is offbeat place inside binsar sanctuary and its easy walk of two km off the road to reach there but they will come and pick you.

The people in charge of joshi cottage are extremely friendly and helpful. Staying here has been the best so far in this tour. Good hotel. Comfortable stay.

familyThey say people make a place. Santosh joshi & his family are one of the most friendly and helpful family that one can seek in the hills. I have come to binsar couple of times but this trip was made extraordinary by mr joshi's extraordinary knowledge about the flaura & fauna of binsar & hospitality of his family. See you soon!
