Everything about this hotel / resort has been a pleasant experience for us. Right from reception to room cleanliness to room service to food taste and quality. Had a room with a great view of the valley. The staff was friendly. The only point of caution is, if you are driving by yourself getting to the resort through the thick traffic of kohima (para medical road) can prove to be a challenge. Just be aware. Everything else was fabulous for us.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and all necessary amenities. The hotel is good, rooms are decent enough and breakfast is manageable. Location wise its a big problem as its pretty much far from the local market downtown area

The property was located in the offshore area of Kohima and the Road to reach the property was not that accessible. The property was clean and tidy and facilities were also great. The staffs were mannered and humble. The food was decent and the variety was good. The property was well maintained and the sense of security was there. Highly recommend the property to others.

Overall it was a nice stay at Alder Retreat. The location was peaceful and the Road which was leading to the property was not proper. Food was wonderful. Lavish room with all the basic facilities I got. Property was completely Worth for money.

Though it's location is far from City but it's presence among a deep forest with serene and calm surrounding provided us a very different feeling.
