Hotel Millennium

Tv was not working. Room was very cold.

When the taxi drivers start asking for more money to drop you to your hotel, you don't get the best of feelings, especially when Google tells you the hotel is just about 2 kilometers away. Well, it is on top of a hill and that was the only time we paid the taxi guys. All other times, it was a pleasure to trek up and down the hill to reach the main Road. The view that the hotel provides of the mountains and of the Kohima township is breathtaking and compensates a lot for whatever is missing from the hotel. Having said that, that there was no running water on for us on the day of the check-out was quite unacceptable. No hot water therefore on the day we were checking out. The hotel had only minimal staff working as it was the new year weekend. But the ones who had stayed back were extremely helpful. The housekeeping and kitchen staff were around whenever needed, the administrative and reception staff on most occasions missing from their desks. The room was spacious, was provided with a much needed heater, and the offered room service. Helpful in all respects thereby. The aloo parathas were delicious and were always delivered hot. Kudos, to Kudata, the housekeeping staff who was around and his kitchen friends. Over all, a wonderful experience.

The GPS location given is incorrect, we had to spend more and about one hour just to search the hotel. The room was not very clean. It has not a very good experience.

The hotel is situated at very high and without any taxi service. The service is worst. The receptionist is very rude and unprofessional. You will get used towel, no toiletries, used bedsheet, telephone for room service does not work. Geyser does not work. It's horrible.

Food was tasty, but, other than that, nothing is good in this hotel. Old unhygienic rooms without proper maintenance. People at the front desk need to be groomed on hospitality.

Carpet could be cleaner. The building itself is in good shape but the interior can be spruced up a bit.

The overall hotel is satisfactory compared to value of money. But we are unsatisfied in regard to as soon as we enter the hotel we were told that your room was not confirmed to us but you are lucky enough to have room vacant with us otherwise we could not provide the room.

Room - nice rooms and well clean. Location - It is the most beautiful place for staying. Facilities - All facilities are very good and staff are very co-operative. Road is very bad to go there. Over all nice hotel. We fell proud to stay there.
