The hotel was good in each aspect. Location (walking distance from rock beach) was good. Staff were also very helpful. We had a kid with us so hotel made sure that we dont face any issue. Although they had very limited options for breakfast (which can be improved) but the food quality and taste was good.

Room was clean and the location is great. Dinner at the rooftop restaurant was great as well. Don't expect much from the swimming pool since it's really small

It was very nice experience, staff’s were good and very helpful . Rooms were clean, they have taken care if hygiene very nicely .One feedback would be they should have dining area for breakfast and more options. Room breakfast should only be given to customer who need at their room. Rest everything was excellent .

We were a family of 7 and booked two executive rooms. The manager and staff were very cordial and accommodating, the experience of which was felt even before we checked in. The rooms were excellent and clean. Although the hotel does not have an in house restaurant, they have a tie up with a restaurant and the food was decent. They have a swimming pool and time slots have to be reserved to ensure privacy. Overall, the stay was comfortable and satisfying.

The room looked exactly like the photos shown during booking, which was a pleasant surprise. Clean, spacious, and thoughtfully arranged for comfort. What stood out the most was the impeccable service—especially from the front desk team, who were extremely helpful in guiding us with local sightseeing options and always ready with a warm smile. Room service was prompt and efficient every time. The overall atmosphere of the hotel, along with its convenient location, made our trip smooth and enjoyable. Completely worth the price paid—highly recommended for anyone visiting Pondicherry!

The staffs very very good and humble. They have given an 6 hrs of early check-in with 0 cost. Food was amazing.

The hotel is very small but well maintained, rooms are adequate in size clean and hygienic, location is good adjacent to white town and near to Promenade beach, however it is not a sea side property, advantage is they have a parking which others don’t have may be for 7-8 cars, they don’t have an own restaurant but has a tie up with a good one, serves good and simple food, staffs are quite co-operative.

Rooms quality, services are very good and value for money . Currently no foods are served to room and they provide the breakfast free

It was a very pleasant and positive experience staying in this hotel. Right from check-in process to check-out, the staff were most cordial and most importantly very truthful about the facilities. They don't have a restaurant of their own but had a reasonable variety of both veg and non vegetarian food which they offered to get in the room within 45 mins of the order and they indeed stood by their words. I got hot and tasty meal delivered in my room. A big applause to the entire team at Palaise de Pondicherry for their smile filled service.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and can't recommend it enough! We were 7 members and 2 kids and I requested for early check-in(2 hours before the actual check-in) and the manager was kind enough to accept the request. From the moment I arrived, the front office staff made me feel incredibly welcome. They were professional, friendly, and went out of their way to ensure my check-in was smooth and efficient. Their local recommendations were spot-on and really helped me make the most of my trip. The room itself was spotless—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. You can tell housekeeping takes great pride in their work. Everything from the fresh linens to the sparkling bathroom was perfect. It truly felt like a home away from home. Breakfast was on time and was delicious. Overall, a fantastic experience. I’ll definitely be returning on my next visit.
