l selected the 240 sq ft lowest price room however they were allocating me with room size smaller Hence confronted them to get the standard room as per the booking. Also, they were asking for extra charges Rs 1000/- to get the standard room of 240 sq ft.

city hotel is a very good hotel and the house keeping staff is very good nature. And the rooms are also very good but the behavior of the lady staff at the reception was very rude but I hope that they will change their behavior and if I get a chance in future to visit Amritsar next time then I will definitely stay in City Heart. it was a good experience and MMT have upgraded our room as well but hotel people gave us the room with a terrible view instead of a city market view that was the only drawback otherwise staff was nice and polite.

Worst services and the staff was very rude and not at all helpful. Book any other hotel but never book this hotel ever. I am a traveller and i have never experienced this kind of rude staff ever!

We were provided with rooms in the basement which was very suffocating as there were no windows..one of us got a room on the 3rd floor, which was smelling of wood varnish and paint as the hotel is currently under renovation. The smell was unbearable. We had to look for another hotel. Luckily the management proposed us to stay in another of their chain hotel itself,though it was quite far from the golden temple,the stay there was quite good.

The hotel is under maintenance everything was ok except they mentioned on the mm t app about food inclusion. And i booked it with breakfast but they dont have working kitchen. So they gave us breakfast from outside. This thing has to be fixed.

Internet was not working at all, they had 0 internet services. Had to ask multiple timrs to get it fixed. We had to ask even for water bottles so many times, there was some glass which was apparently broken already and we didn’t notice, on our checkout we were forced to pay for it, the manager and receptionist were so rude and their behaviour was pathetic.

"Disappointing stay. Friendly staff, but hotel felt like a small 5-room guesthouse. Ground floor room had no windows, basic amenities, and a tiny bed. Concerned about discriminatory treatment, as Indian guests seemed to get better rooms. Not recommended for families or solo female travelers. Overpriced for the quality."

familyLocation is good, vehicle stops 50 m from the hotel, golden temple gate is nearby, shopping and food options are easily available. only draw back the queen rooms do not have an open view from the window ( view is blocked by nearby walls) due to which there is no natural light in the room even during day time.
