Munnar Farmhouse | Rooms in a Villa

It was an amazing stay. The farmhouse is very well maintained and my room was in excellent condition. The scenic view from the farmhouse is very beautiful. The owner (gabriel ji) is a very down to earth person and very helpful and caring.

Mr gabriel in munnar farm house was very welcoming and friendly man. His property was neat and clean with well maintained. The view from the property is breathtaking and is that place is worth a visit. The man himself is a movie director and worth talking to. He is very intelligent and charming at the same time.

A great and refreshing stay at this place. The host is the owner stays here and maintains the stay arrangement by himself. A great person to interact and also got some valuable introduction to various plants in his farm. A humble and caring approach is appreaciatable. Have stayed with my wife and kids and had a great stay alongside of the great nature view. Awesome!

Bathroom could have been little good. It was little smelly. Other than that, everything is very good.

The Place has excellent views. Bird sounds in the morning and evening are just memorable. There are eateries and other shops within 2 to 4 KM. If you have vehicle with you then easily accessible.

It was a bit of time taken to reach the property. The room was very nice and comfortable. The whole property was very neat and clean. I got the basic facilities that I needed. Overall it was a comfortable stay. I really enjoyed the room, the balcony was amazing.

Owner Mr Gabriel was very friendly and helpful. We liked the stay and the mountain view from the house. There is a common passage area which is quite big, and we had food in that area. They also have a small play area with carrom and chess facility. The facility is around 1.5 km away from the main road and the road widening work is being carried out in this approach road. There is a North Indian hotel at around 300 meters from the homestay. Overall, if you wish to have a home like stay away from town then this place is very good. Munnar Town is around 12 km from this place. Dreamland Park is at walking distance from this place (Around 300 meters). We enjoyed the stay. Thanks.

The stay was pleasant. Good for family. The owner is a great man. A great stay, peaceful. Location is also good. Pleasant atmosphere. Had a great time.

The Farmhouse is very clean and neat. The host is very friendly. I got a very tasty breakfast. The view is excellent as it facing towards western ghats, long mountain range. Beautiful sunrise can be seen from this homestay. Very nice garden, Library to read books, play carroms/chess all available. I could park my car as safe as enough parking space provided. All around very good spice garden. Very easy to access as it is near Dreamland spice park. Strongly recommend for couples and families.

A Great place to stay. Munnar Farmhouse is a wonderful place, I would say one of the best home stays in Munnar. I have visited Munnar several times but this time my stay was 100% happy. Room was very clean and neat, spacious, bathroom also very clean, hot water, linen all ok. Form the room window I could see a long mountain range. The host Dr. Gabriel had told me about the sunrise at early morning. So at 5.40 am an excellent sunrise from the mountain peak I could see. As there was a little fog a rainbow also seen from the valley to sky!, the largest I have ever seen in my life. There are a lot of green all around, Coffee, cardamom, cinnamon, etc. The host is very friendly. It is approx.10 or 12 km. from Munnar city center but a lot of bus service you will get from Arunachal, the nearest town. You can do evening walk to town as it is approx.1 km. Very near to the farmhouse, there is a cafe also, Dreamland park is very near. As I checked in late, I had requested for dinner when I was driving my car. They provided me chapati and veg. curry very tasty. My booking was without breakfast but I requested breakfast and they agreed and provided. Morning I was amazed to see the breakfast Idly, sambar and bread butter jam, banana, tea, etc. and the charge! comparing to other hotels outside tasty homemade food at a very low rate. I had seen google reviews about this farmhouse which made me book here and all beyond my expectations. There is a library and play section on terrace section which I saw morning I was alone so I did not use it. Really This homestay is good for couples and family as you will get perfect privacy, even you can sit on the terrace at night looking towards mountain. Highly recommended Farmhouse

There is no option for food or restaurant. Even they did not know anything where we can get some food. No help from their Side.

We enjoyed a lot elephant ride, boating and dreamland was Around 5 kms and stay was very clam and good.
