Mancotta Heritage Chang Bungalow, Dibrugarh

This place has been on our wishlist for a long time and we are glad we were able to realise that wish. The architect from the bygone era is something we intend to emulate in our forthcoming house.

location of property was good but the room was too small with given tarrif in tier 2- 3 town, that too without breakfast. even mayfair charges same tarrif with excellent rooms not to mention splendid breakfast spead in tier 2-3 towns. it's dainty cottage where seperate small cottage is there behind main building. might have been housekeeper qtr during British time, now changed to rooms. furnitures are in superb condition. building will give you comfortable and stable vibe. structure is old and need upgradation in many places. I. e my room had old window ac where I couldn't regulate temperature, it was like starting old tractor. number shared in mmt never pickup calls, we had complete confusion on how to reach and had to ask multiple people to reach. staff are polite and helpful. mosquito repellent in kit was cool idea. the facility airs 4star property but the amenities is equivalent to 2- 2.5stars. had too much of expectation. was disappointed.

The location was convenient to the airport. It’s quiet and in a serene setting. The property is beautiful and transports you in time to the original tea estate. The hospitality was excellent. We were fed good meals with beautiful place settings and eager faces to host & provide assistance. The bungalow is clean & beautifully appointed with old world charm.

I had a quality time during my official stay at the property. The spacious upper floor room opened onto a communal lounge and dining room shared with a small number of guests from other rooms. We were looked after very attentively by the staff. The interiors were a delightful mixture of Indian and homely English colonial styles. The food was delicious, local cuisine was also available, Overall, it a great place to relax. Recommended to others for every occasion.

Nestled between trees and tea estates lies this very colonial Bungalow which is well preserved. There is a majestic rain tree on one side of the sprawling lawn which is over a 100 years old. The Bungalow has beautiful veranda along its entire perimeter where you can sit and enjoy your morning tea and a glass of wine in the evening amidst the sound of crickets. Perfect place for some peace and quiet. Easily accessible by flight. Takes about 30 minutes from the Airport. Highly recommended for a quiet getaway. Not much activities for small kids. So families with kids may have some problems keeping the children occupied throughout the day.

Charming old fashioned, colonial tea bungalow. Very spacious room. Smart and courteous service. Good food.

We enjoyed the stay at this resort. Environment wise, it was good, food and services were very good. They should fix one direction board at the main Road point.
There was no TV in the room. Coffee maker is not in the room. Geyser was too small, I had to take Bath with cold water.
