By Air: It takes about 1 hour to reach Manali from its nearest airport at Bhuntar, Kullu-Manali Airport. The distance from the airport to Manali is 50km and there are pre-paid cabs available, which will take you to the hotel or resort you have booked prior. Air India is the major domestic airline that flies directly from Delhi and Chandigarh to this airport. The major connecting flights for the hill station from the major cities in the country to this airport are SpiceJet, IndiGo, GoAir and Vistara.
By Train: Manali, being situated at an altitude of 2050m above sea level, has no direct train services. There are trains available from Delhi to Pathankot.
