Room & Reception The room was good, family-safe, and well maintained. Reception staff, especially Prasad, was very supportive and ensured a fair deal during booking. Restaurant & Food The restaurant service was excellent. On the first night we got a discount, and the second night the Chef’s Veg Special with a complimentary starter was very nice. The South Indian buffet breakfast was also complimentary and excellent, with good variety. F&B Manager Dinesh was very helpful, and Arun and Akash served us well. Overall, the dining experience was satisfying. Facilities • Swimming pool was clean and enjoyable, with a small fountain that families will like. • Evening campfire with DJ around 8 pm was entertaining. • Property is located within 1 km from the main area, which is convenient. • Kids’ play area available and enjoyable. • Indoor games are also available, though we didn’t get time to try them. • The resort overall has good facilities and is well maintained. Spa We used the spa for couple massages. Therapist Vishnu was skilled and did a very good job. Spa Manager Umesh was cooperative in providing a good deal. Therapists are allocated male-to-male and female-to-female, which is professional. However, treatments didn’t always match the menu, so clearer explanation beforehand would help avoid confusion. Other Observations • Mobile network is not available in the property, so guests must depend fully on Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling. • We faced an issue with muddy water for one full day, which was fixed after reporting. Reception (Prasad) responded well and even offered to change our room, but ideally housekeeping should proactively resolve such issues. Overall Feedback We enjoyed our stay – a safe, family-friendly resort with good facilities, supportive staff, and decent entertainment. It's a wonderful resort with so many trees inside the campus. In fact, the treasury is within woods. Rooms are adjacent to thick forest. From our room we can spot many Bisons (Indian Gaurs) everyday. We could hear howls of jackals early in the morning. Monkeys come once in a day. They are harmless. Food was excellent. Really loved the stay. I would like to come to this resort in my next trip to Yercaud as well.

Mainland Resorts and Spa by Kolaahalam is a property that is location close to the city centre yet calm and has a pleasant vibe. The service was mostly on point and if there was an issue the staff fixed it instantly. The food was food with a decent spread though a little pricey for the spread. The bonfire was the highlight which my kids loved, they had music and performances by the staff which was thoroughly entertaining. One constructive feedback is that the rooms could be maintained a little better especially with some dirt stains on the furniture

The stay had every thing positive, but one thing which is a negative is lack of mobile service and a frequent disconnection of the Wi-Fi. Apart from that every thing else was literally amazing.

we are booked 1 BHK, but maintenance is not good The wall is damaged, the telephone is not working, No security, no maintenance swimming pool water is not refilled. amounts are high in this room. The room way also damaged.

Cottage room is outside the resort it's dark in the night felt difficult to reach and also looks like an individual property not an resort

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive. The room was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and the view from the window was just beautiful. The amenities were top-notch — especially the [pool/spa/restaurant — customize as needed], and the breakfast had a great variety of fresh and delicious options. Location-wise, it’s perfectly situated near [mention landmark or convenience], making it easy to get around. Overall, a perfect stay. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this hotel to friends and family!

Property is at very good location with hill view and surrounded by lots of trees which gives an excellent feel. Room inside cleanliness can be better and rest room is fantastic. Food is excellent but little costly however quality and taste is good. The only dissappoinment was swimming pool was not able use due to near by renovation works and dusts, in that case guest can be intimated prior that swimming is temporary not available like that, because u choose specifically with swimming pool property for my kid but unfortunately it was not possible to use. Overall service and property is good and I will recommend for families because it’s very close to city and safe place.

My second time stay here

Okay service but poor maintenance Our stay at Kollakalam was average. The toilet had a strong unpleasant smell, and it wasn’t cleaned properly. The toilet door handle was not working and placed upsidedown, managed with the lock, making it difficult to use. The main door to the room was also damaged. Initially, we were asked to fix it, but after doing so, it wouldn't close properly. Eventually, someone came and fixed it again. The place definitely lacked proper maintenance. On the positive side, the service was okay—staff responded quickly whenever we asked for help. The food was also fine.

Location and facilities are close to most of the main sites. Taste of the food are very good, but the restaurant has to be more responsive and in action for the customer, which is missing. Power cut was very often, may be it’s every where at that time, but they should have given uninterrupted power. Room service was good, but washbasin water are leaking in the floor which was informed but not taken care of. On a lighter note, tv unable to be turned on, informed the hotel team, but not taken care. Over all the stay was little concern on these matters, but otherwise it’s fine.

wonderful hospitality. warm welcome by reception staff.easy check in. rooms are too good. if there is elderly ask reception to provide rooms within the building or you have to walk. restaurant morning buffet is good with idly, vada, pongal, sweet, english variety. lunch available only if ordered. room is good with patio. 24hr hot water. accommodation for driver with public restroom available. kids play area with birds &animal is great.best for family with kids. fire show, dance, vr, indoor games & cycling good. location is near lake. staff are really friendly. had wonderful time. will stay again.

The room was Not Clean with. One of the highlights was beautiful balcony, powerful shower, or high-speed Wi-Fi. Housekeeping was prompt and efficient.

Location of the resort is very nice, misty in morning and evening. Most of the tourist destinations are nearby. Only 800m from Yercaud lake. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Staffs were polite and helpful. Swimming pool cleaning should be done more frequently. Food is expensive, better to book packages with complimentary breakfast and dinner. Even though the resort has power backup, frequent power failures are a little bit annoying. It will take 2 to 3 minutes for switching to and from the power backup. There is no mobile network inside the room for most of the service providers. The resort has a Wi-Fi facility, which is a disaster. It will take 5 minutes to load the Google home page, that's the speed of it. Due to this, we cannot pay using cards /upi in their front desk POS machine. After multiple attempts we did the cash payment, luckily we had enough cash with us. Others were also struggling to do card payments. They offer full body spa at there spa centre, other basic spa services can be availed at room also. Kids play area is good. Fire dance and small music events were arranged at common area during night.
