Madhusmruti | Rooms in a Homestay

First of all, the owner is too rude. 1. Photos are misleading. 2. Room description is also wrong. Too small room. 3. Cleanliness issue. 4. It's not worth it according to price.

The experience was good, the staff was courteous. The room size was quite big and the location was great. Only issue was that the location provided was not accurate on maps and took us to a random small lane. But the housekeeper was helpful in navigating us back to the property.

The room appears a lot bigger in the pictures, than it is in reality. All the "common areas" mentioned in the listing are actually not accessible. Simple things like provision for hot water for tea/coffee are also missing. The staff is nice and friendly, but never at the reception.

Room, ambience everything was neat and clean, also the care taker name raja was so helpful. Overall i will give 8/10. Food not available you can buy it from outside and have it inside dinning table

The property could be much more cleaner and basic amenities should be there in washroom. Overall stay was good.

The fridge door does not close properly. Even there were some dirty and old food pot (of clay) and smelling very bad.

The hotels location was very good. It was nearby from the sea beach as well as jagannath temple. Hygiene and safety standards also maintain all the time.

Location is quite good, kitchen was very messy, it felt like they do not clean kitchen area at all. Rooms had problems, in one room ac wasn't working properly and in other washroom had issues. This home stay was not worth the money. We told them to clean rooms, and they didn't clean washrooms, we had to use washroom for 3 days continuously without cleaning.

Good location and place but only one staff for food and cleaning. Please has not been cleaned properly so take care in these times if you visit. Host and staff are very helpful and friendly.

The property was located in a proper location. The location was good and near to the main City. The kind of service they provided was good. However, it was not valued for money. The rooms were not comfortable at all. Those were very small. The space of the property was very compact.

Just book it don't hesitate and just book it, host mr. Mall misery is ex-ambassador for india and travelled across the world. A friendly chat with him will make you dive into his experiences. Rooms are class apart with many souvenirs he has collected including finest cutlery. Home stay has a big hall, terrace and gym. He also gave us finger licking breakfast and fruits. He will guide you for all your comforts and for ones visiting jag neat temple, he arranges a priest guide who will take you through crowd and also gives you information about the temple. This never felt like a home-stay but it was more like a home. We will surely visit again.
